Class Work
I am going to be using this for one of my classes this next 8 weeks as more or less of a proving ground. I’m going to try some ideas on here and see how well I put them together before submitting them.
These are just some of the responses that I got for the article I am writing on and there’s still a lot more that I couldn’t fit in one tiny collage. Thank you so much for taking the time. I really, really appreciate all the help. ❤️❤️❤️ 😊😊😊 #collegelife #mediawriting #foodmagazine (at Quezon City, Philippines) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3r1nR5AioD/?igshid=1tr98t2zxxtyk
Updates from Destiny: New Light
The long-awaited release of the Free-To-Play version of Destiny 2, Destiny: New Light, has finally occurred and it has brought along with it a whole host of updates to various game features. The biggest change is the Destiny armor system’s new Armor 2.0. Whereas before the update armor came with random perks, Armor 2.0 allows you to unlock and slot perks of your choosing. This allows players to tailor their armor specifically to their own playstyle. And while Armor was changed the most, Weapons did receive some updates of their own. For instance, Weapon Mods are now reusable unlocks. Any mods in the player’s inventory prior to the update were automatically unlocked for that player. Unfortunately this does not apply to mods already equipped on weapons, and those mods will need to be acquired again. New Light also added new Finisher moves to the list of Guardian abilities. Finishers can be used to kill weakened enemies with a stylized melee attack. A symbol will appear over an enemy’s head, indicating that a finisher can be used on them. Also changing is how Black Armory forges are utilized. Forges are now on a daily rotation and can be accessed directly from orbit. Weapon Frames are also no longer locked to specific forges, and can be run through any of them. New Light also added a new Nightfall strike activity known as Nightfall: The Ordeal which will allow players to more easily obtain Exotics. The higher the difficulty of The Ordeal that is done, the increased chances of an exotic drop. The first two tiers of the activity also possess matchmaking, pairing a player’s Guardian up with two other random players. The final two tiers of the activity unfortunately does not possess this, so players will need to put together or find their own fireteams.
While waiting to attend a party, Godriel Roman (left), Macalagh McNally (center) and Joshua Reese (right), were just some of the party goers that were taking pictures to pass the time. It was their friend’s Sweet 16 but they had to wait until the party room was still getting set up. “The squad is looking fresh.” said Joshua Reese.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Brad and Patrick are in their senior year or high school. They have been in a secret relationship since their freshman year. Brad is on the football team and his father is homophobic. Outside of Patrick’s circle of friends, no one knows Brad is gay. One day Brad and Patrick were being intimate in Brad’s basement and his father came home earlier than expected. Brad’s father began to beat, Patrick begged his father to stop and Brad just told Patrick to leave. After this incident Brad stopped speaking to Patrick. No one knows how Brad actually got those bruises. He told everyone he was jumped in a parking lot. About a week later, the fight in the cafeteria happened.
While Patrick was walking with his food Brad’s jock friend (Jock #1) tripped him. Patrick fell face first onto the floor. He got up and asked Brad if he was going to do anything?
Brad responded: “What are you talking about?”
Patrick: “I’m talking about your pet ape just tripped me. Are you going to say something?
Brad: “Why would I?”
Patrick: “You know why.”
Brad: “This is pathetic man; this fixation on me.”
Patrick: “Do you want your friends to know how you got those bruises, really?
Brad: “I got jumped in a parking lot.”
Patrick: “Where Chinley park? Do you guys know about Chinley Park?”
(Chinley Park is where gay singles find out another, be intimate and remain strangers to one another.)
Brad: “I don’t know what kind of sick you’re trying to prove but you better walk away right now.”
Patrick: “Fine… say hi to your dad for me.
*Patrick begins to walk away. Brad watches and says:*
Brad: “Whatever faggot.”
Patrick turns around with an appalled look on his face. He asks Brad what he said; Brad began to repeat himself. Patrick punches Brad in the face before he could finish getting the words out. Brad stumbles and grabs his face. Brad tackled Patrick while the crowd formed around them. As the crowd formed it caught the attention of, Charlie first (the main character) and then Patrick’s sister Sam and the rest of his friends. Brad punched Patrick in the face. Patrick rolled Brad over and began hitting him. Brad’s jock friends pulled Patrick off of Brad. Two of the jock’s held Patrick while another punched him in the stomach and face. Patrick’s sister Sam tried to run in and help him. Jock #2 grabbed Sam, threw her to the ground and continued to hit Patrick in the stomach and face. Sam began to scream “Stop!”
Charlie came over, he raised his fist like he was about to attack one of the jocks. Then the screen goes black for a moment. Jock #1 is now on the floor, Jock #2 is knelt down with a broken nose and Jock #3 was standing off to the side with a scared look on his face. The whole room is now silent and looking at Charlie with shock and fear. Charlie then helps Patrick up, looks at Brad and says “Touch my friends again and I’ll blind you.”
