notes on scars and swimming

lin (red cap) has quite a few scars from the accident but not many from superheroing. she also used to be a very strong swimmer before the accident before she got her powers, and on her school swim team, but even now she’s still a stronger swimmer than the rest of her super team. because of her powers, since she got them she cant get any injuries from fire or heat

rami (in the tube) has very few scars because his powers usually mean he works from a distance. he’s not very good at swimming but lin is teaching him and he’s getting better

cam (blonde in pink) has only a couple scars, but none from heroing bc thats what happens when you have forcefield powers. not a strong swimmer

mateo (green shorts) has no scars bc i usually draw him in a crop top and shorts so i ended up drawing him without scars and just kept him like that so i dont have to redraw anything. no in universe reason for that he just got lucky i guess. a decent swimmer

dante (blue bikini) has no scars because she’s a shapeshifter and just makes herself look like they has none to protect his identity. they are pretty hands on with their fighting so if they couldnt hide their scars, they’d probably have a fair few. alright at swimming but doesnt do it often

xandra (blue jacket) has a lot of scars, very self conscious about it. good at swimming, just isnt confident enough to wear her swimsuit

hana (green armbands) no scars because she’s a healer and heals her injuries before they get the chance to scar. cant swim at all

lewis (skull shirt) few scars, hasnt been a hero for long, but isnt great at fighting. can swim pretty good, but rarely swims bc he finds it boring to swim alone

jade (purple) very few scars, because she is fast and lucky. isnt good at swimming but finds it fun anyway
