Happy Medieval-A-Thon to all you fellow nerds out there participating ⚔️📚
I’m joining Medieval-a-thon this month! I have a mini tbr picked out but mostly I’m winging it. I spent what was definitely too much time on these journal pages so I wanted to share them as well ✨ // Instagram
JOMP day 18
Book stack
Here is most of my remaining tbr for medieval-a-thon I’m still waiting for a book in the mail for one my the challenges, I’ve already started Sisters of Sword and Song!
My January tbr has changed so much already 😂😂😂
April 15, 2020 I gave in and listened to ACOTAR. I love finding things I missed from earlier readings and also the little snippets of Rhysand. So many tiny things put in that you can miss the first time around. • The Great is on Hulu! I’ve been waiting for this day! Just like books, I hope I haven’t hyped this show up too much for myself. • I’m going to start on We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faisal. I have the book going for prompts of several readathons going on this month. • I hope everyone has had a great start to their weekend! 📚 #shrekathon #tometopple ##medievalathon #fantasyjourneyathon #journeyathon #bookstagram #bibliophile #bookworm #bookish #tbr #series #coffee #guiltypleasure #may #2020 #currentlyreading https://www.instagram.com/p/CARUhhNAEw2/?igshid=1xmxbjrvwuzz6
My belated Medievalathon TBR
Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard for my cloak or my sword 🗡
The Deepest Blue by Sarah Beth Durst for my crown 👑
The Missing of Clairdelune by Christelle Dabos for my light chain mail 🛡
Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers 🎧 for my cloak 🧣
Rat Queens Vol VI: The Infernal Path by Kurtis J. Wiebe for my bow and arrows 🏹
Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff for my daggers ⚔
Four books, or one a week, is very doable and if I am able to read each in a bit less than a week each then I should be able to squeeze in a fifth or at least take a few hours one evening to read the comic bindup. Five books would make me a princess while six would make me a queen. Either is perfectly reasonable imo.
I'm aiming for my vestments: my crown, chain mail (lighter than plate), and cloak. Once I collect those then I will replace my cloak and pick up a sword. After that I want all the weapons because I love the trope with the individual that keeps pulling out weapon after weapon from inconceivable places (and still has a weapon tucked away once in). Its a good trope. Admit it.
Hello everyone and Happy May!! Also happy Medieval-A-Thon!! Today starts @medievalathon and I am really excited about it. It is the only readathon that I am taking part the last years. This year I chose the Blacksmith profession and here is my #tbr : 1. Capturing the devil by Kerri Maniscalco 2. The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner 3. Assassin's creed Valhalla by Matthew J. Kirby 4. Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco 5. Assassin's creed Fate of the gods by Matthew J Kirby *** Do you like participating in readathons? *** #medievalathon #medievalathon2022 #readathon #fantasybooks #monthlytbr #booklove #readingisfundamental #bookstagrammers #readingcommunity #bookstagrammer #bookishlife #bookobsessed #readersofinsta #bookstagramit #bookrecommendations #greekbookstagram #instavivlio #vivlio #diavazo #eucitesc #mybookfeatures #booknotes_athina #ipreview (at Bucharest, Romania) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdA_V2fjxNt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Yay! I finished my 3rd @medievalathon book. I reached my goal of being and knight (or as I like say to shield maiden) and a level 3 bard. Ironically, my 3rd book featured a ton of knights. Isolde: Queen of the Western Isle was an amusing retelling of the Tristan and Isolde story of Arthurian Legend. The pacing was on the slower side and it was a bit melodramatic, but it was in a way that I found relaxing to read. I'll probably read the next book in the series when the mood strikes me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I hope to squeeze in at least one more book before the readathon ends on February 10th.who doesn't want to be a noble right. #medievalathon #books #bookstagram #arthurianlegend #tristanandisolde #isolde https://www.instagram.com/p/CKvPNyuAAdh/?igshid=cmt5bpkltno9
