What started out as me trying to practice drawing Amber’s face and body shape consistently turned into playing dress up 😆 For some reason I’ve just been really unhappy feeling like my characters have same face/body syndrome, so been a little obsessed with trying to improve that. She still looks slightly different in every single one of these. The one of her in the Blood and Gold outfit is the one I like most and how I wish I could draw her every single time. Oh well. Practice makes perfect, right? The first outfit I referenced from Pinterest. A slightly fancy Victorian-esque dress. The purple dress is her default Victorian dress I always draw her in for the Echoes series. I just modified the sleeves from how I normally draw them quarter length to long and puffy instead. The green cloak outfit is from an old story @nightmagican and I created several years ago called Red Feather Mine. It was an AU inspired by Robin Hood where she is Robin and Ray is the Sheriff of Nottingham, and they eventually fall in love. A forbidden romance type of thing. The light purple dress and dark purple and black with lacy corset dress are also from Pinterest. Just thought they were cute. Can you tell purple is my favorite color? 😄 The red skirt outfit is how she looks in Blood and Gold. I changed the top slightly and got rid of the raggedy tears in the neck and sleeves.
