Love Letters

My dearest Poppy,

I'm afraid our charges are once again conspiring against us. I am stuck detention, and will not be able to join you until later.

I will save you the blushes, and not write down where my mind will be wandering to this evening - inappropriate for when I am sat with three troublesome teens? Perhaps, but is so much more pleasant than marking. Just know that I am thinking of you.

Will you wait up for me? I know that we're both fond of an early night, but I'm afraid that I did get rather used waking up next to you during the summer holidays, and I am loathe to give it up. I promise to make it worth your while.

Well, folks, it's been a wild ride to 369 followers and I'm crazy grateful to have gotten here! I'm surprised and spectacularly pleased when I get a new follow notification, thank you all!

In celebration, I'll be taking little poem requests. "But Krethes," you say, "don't you have 8 bajillion WIPs?" Yes. Yes I do. However... Important milestones should be celebrated, so I am, and I'm setting some self-limits, lol.
