Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about 𝙡 𝙤 𝙫 𝙚 . . Love is our common thread in this human experience. It’s something we all long for & are capable of showing & giving, but have you considered it’s 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 forms? . The love of a partner for sure. The love of a parent for their child. The love of that child for their parent. The love of a loyal & reliable friend. The love of a place that makes you feel safe. The love of travel. The love of a pet. The love of adventure. The love of food! . I then began to contemplate the “life-cycle” of love. To which I concluded I don’t think it ever goes away. I think love, like life, ebbs and flows, shifts & changes form, but is a constant, the Universe’s way of joining us all together—no matter how desperately we try to be separate. Even when it’s “over”, the energy of love always remains. . We are all ONE. We are all LOVE. . If I’ve loved you & told you so, know that I still do, although it may show up differently these days. It might be a love that is expressed by zero communication and setting first boundaries so you can enjoy a happy healthy relationship with another woman. It might be a love that although the idea of our friendship makes sense “on paper”, we could never find our stride & we let each other go on. It might be a love of you so greatly felt it’s gone with you from this life into the one you’ve left us for. . My love, your love, OUR love is a constant. It’s my religion.
