A different Christmas, a different haul under the tree.
My best friend and his mother, Leavenworth WA, circa 1976. This scene no longer exists; see below the cut.
Just finished scanning my bud's mom's photos (had to turn on the flatbed scanner for the medium-format negatives!) and this is the one that I like the most. Okay, mostly because the rest are of his dad's rodeos, but there were three of my current bestie with my elementary school bestie somewhere after we graduated. :)
So here are things you didn't ask that I will tell you:
I do have a couple dozen slides sitting on top of a box that I need to scan. The delay in doing so is because I want to have something to try out my Nikon scanner with once it gets back from the repair guy I sent it to last week. He acknowledged receiving it 3 days ago but no updates yet. That's why I'm dawdling in these 1930s-1940s medium format negatives, but I'm sure you don't mind too much... right?
