Riley had a free night tonight since Jeremiah was working late so she decide to go on the prowl for some fun. She found herself at her usual bar, sipping the drinks people ordered for her. She entertained the occasional conversation, keeping them interested enough that they would be a suitable Plan B but distant enough not to make any promises yet. It was fun, not knowing where the night would take her. It was also kind of naughty, Jeremiah’s fancy bright engagement ring securely on her finger. She just wanted to see how people would react.
Things had been going rather slow when she noticed a newcomer enter the bar. She had never seen the girl here before but there was something about her that seemed familiar. Riley couldn’t quite place where she had seen that face before but it was a very pretty face so it didn’t matter if she hadn’t. Her curiousity piqued, she approached her seat at the bar, sliding in beside her. “Can I buy you a drink?”
