Hey! Im having problems with bad dreams when i sleep, they attack me, and i cant sleep very well. Why ia that happening? Sorry if i didn't say enough
Hey meerkatt!I’m sorry you’ve been struggling with this lately! So in our sleep we are dreaming to handle things. When you’re asleep your body and your brain are processing what happened this day or what problems you’re thinking of/having. Nightmares can be extremely unpleasant, causing fear and anxiety and affecting quality of your sleep and the quality of your life. This can lead to physical tiredness and mental stress. But nightmares are also consequences of stress and anxiety. To sleep well you have to avoid stress or speaking with someone about your thoughts or your problems. When you had a bad dream it can be helpful to speak about it and/or write it down. Maybe our tips for a good sleep can help you too: sleep tips.If your sleep gets affected too hard you should go to a doctor or at first to another person you can tell. Bad dreams/ Nightmares can be a cause of mental illness or medication. So if you’re taking medication and think your dreams could be caused by them, talk to the doc or the psychiatrist who prescribed the meds.I hope you’re doing well,Lena
