I really wish we got more of the dynamic between Beerus and Whis. The angels are terrifying, and I imagine upon meeting one a logical person would be scared. They are the most powerful entities in the multiverse, and only are ‘good’ because they value loyalty above else. 

And I imagine that this loyalty has to be very, very strong for Beerus to get away with treating Whis the way he does. 

But like, was there ever a time he was genially afraid of Whis? What made him fear the grand minister considering just how he treats the angels. And how does he still get away with being mean to Whis knowing his he father is. 

It’s just an interesting dynamic. Whis’s loyalty to Beerus presides despite how he’s treated, or even his loyalty to the other angels. To the point where Beerus (and champa) will throw food at and insult eldritch terrors and fear no backlash XD 

And don’t even get me started on his exchange with Meerus XD

When Merus is revived, Jaco takes it upon himself to show Merus everything he knows. Because Merus is an angel, and has lived for centuries, Jaco knows that he’s pretty much been everywhere. But he’s never experienced things the same way Jaco has.

Jaco wants Merus to experience the mortal world as a participant, rather than an observer.

It’s the first time Jaco actually uses his vacation days. He takes weeks out of the month just to take Merus shopping, or to the beach, or to different planets and countries to enjoy life.

All in all, Merus enjoys it. And every laugh and smile Jaco gets out of him is a success.

He thinks it’s fitting that Merus gets to experience and be apart of the world he loves so much.
