See this child right here? This brat? We got her about 4 years ago in August. At the time, I was so jazzed at the prospect of finally getting a cat to call my own! But a couple days after we got her, it dawned on us that we didn't know when she was born. We tried calling the person who previously owned the widdo kitten to ask her birthday, but he didn't get back to us. All we knew was that she was born in the first or second week of June. So! I decided that we would celebrate her birthday today, June 8th! My baby... Newly spayed, and I had to anxiously fashion a pet cone of shame substitute. So she now has the long johns leg of shame...sweater thing. So here's the thing. Blackjack usually doesn't take to sleeping in my room or even on me so quickly after I arrive home for the weekend. She usually takes to being a cuddly loaf up until like an hour before I leave for the week on Sunday. XD So imagine my pleasant surprise when she's been a sleeping in my room for about an hour, and at least being a crotch warmer a sixth of that time.
