Just a clarification, MRAU Summer Rose is a mute. Her word bubbles are going to look different from other characters’.
The faded ones are when she is thinking to herself and is not addressing anyone.
The regular, dark colored ones are when she is addressing someone or is conversing. This is usually accompanied by her journal or some writing medium and tool.
Either way, no one can HEAR her. MRAU Qrow is just able to read her very well and guess with an almost 100% accuracy as to what she is thinking or feeling.
