Week 1 @ iNnovate Delhi
I found it a good time to launch this blog. Now that week 1 at Innovate Delhi is over, I realize that I have taken the first step towards my ambition in life. It was the first busy week of my life. A very busy one. There was a lot to do. Case studies - the ones used at Stanford GSB, - brain storming, interaction, guest lecture series, prototyping, mock-ups, empathy interviews, feedback, product design and presenting the idea.
I got to meet a lot of new people. Some, entrepreneurs and the others, wantrepreneurs. Sharique Hasan and Rem Koning from Stanford University have been great teachers and friends all this while. Randy Lubin has been a great person to have been staying here and sharing with us, his experience at meetings.io and selling it. Also, he reflected upon how important it had been for him to learn to code, as he was from a non-tech background. In fact he says that everyone must learn to code as it is now, an integral part of our lives.
Adam Kowalski, a Product Manager at Google, told us how he landed at Google, despite his non-Tech background (Materials Science). His experience at Google, he says, allowed him to have an impact on technology very quickly. He had recently been working on the Google Flight Search. He told us, how you could innovate, even while working in a large organization as this. The fancy part - we got to use the Google Glass, a great product with vast potential. A product with limited access in India.
Great speakers like Siddhartha Chandurkar, Founder of ShepHertz Technologies; Rajat Garg, Founder of SocialApps HQ; Arun, the Product Design head at SlideShare.net; Tushar Bhatia, Founder of Saigun Technologies, were a delight to be around.
I am pretty sure that the upcoming two weeks at the Innovate Delhi Entrepreneurship Academy are also going to be equally thrilling. So keep reading my thrilling journey at this blog.
