Drop sets. Yay.
Sorry I’ve been shit at blogging. This meet prep has been rough and real estate has been crazy this Spring.
I’ve had a lot of injuries getting to the meet, just really taking it out of me. I’m 10 days out and actually feel healthy. *knock on wood*
Weight is sitting at 237ish so I’ll have a little bit of a water cut a couple days out. Hoping to be 235 mid next week. I’m competing at 105kg. My coach keeps increasing my carbs and calories and I’m still losing which is just insane for me.
I’ve pulled out all the stops getting back in the game between chiro, cryotherapy and infrared sauna, plus 2 long dog walks a day. He really helps keep me accountable. Other than that I’ve only done cardio a few times. Thank god.
I’ll try to share more leading up to meet day. I worked up to my deadlift opener today. I really want that 227.5kg pull so I’ll let that ride. Squat and bench openers Friday!
