I feel like I just really needed this reminder tonight. I have been so overwhelmed by life lately. Grad school is kicking my butt and life is coming at me in 13 million different directions. Living 13 hours away from family and friends is getting extremely hard (this mommas girl misses her momma), worrying about money and having enough to make ends meet until I graduate, trying to find a praticum and residency in five weeks and getting accepted to start practicing as a therapist in the fall, as well as struggling with new medication and insomnia and all the other things that this post doesn’t have time for me to list 😂 My life has a lot going on at the moment! I like to see my this page as my little escape from reality, as an opportunity to share my love for Taylor and bond with all my swiftie friends. But I wanted to take a step back into reality and say that behind this account I am an adult with a whole heck of a lot going on. Leading up to the release of ME! as you can tell I had a lot going on (and still do) but as always, Taylor found a way to give me exactly what I needed to hear— when I needed to hear it. ME! has not only reminded me of all my self worth, but it gave me a chance to step into the day light and to smile and dance like no body is watching. Life can get crazy hectic, this is only my story, but I know from all that I have going on— dancing and singing to ME! has given me a chance to remember that life is a crazy ride and it will get better—It will get easier! Thank you for for “ME!” Taylor and for helping me escape life for all the 13 million times I listen to ME! Thank you for reminding me that this is only temporary, and for putting the FUN back in ME! “ME!” Has such a deeper meaning to ME but for right now I wanted to thank you for writing this song and for helping ME get closer to freedom ♥️ I couldn’t go through this crazy life without you T—Thank you once again ♥️ So no matter what you may be going through right now, now matter what chapter of life you may be in right now— know that you are loved and it will get easier!
