I picked up the first two copies of Mastermix (because they’re the only ones I can find and I want to own hard copies so I don’t feel like a scumbag), but only the second one arrived today.
I find it very funny that it’s been rearranged from print order to narrative chronological order, resulting in Asteroid Blues (from Gigamix) getting injected before Metal Heart, with one heck of a style and tone whiplash, hahaha.
The colorization is gorgeous, but I can’t help but feel I like the manga screen tones more. Personal preference.
