Castiel has been living in his childhood home for about a year . . . and every day he wishes for someone to save him. Sure, he should be happy that he's with his old girlfriend, or that he is seeing his family again, but he isn't. More than anything, he wishes to see the Omega he left behind. When Castiel is protecting his sisters, he comes across the two most dangerous Hunters out there, Sam and Dean Winchester. Everyone knows that they hate monsters because a witch killed their mother and their father died because of a werewolf.
Trying to protect his sisters, he offers to leave with them, telling them he's valuable, that he's part of the Alpha family if they leave his pack and his siblings alone. After much persuasion, they agree, and he is forced to leave with them.
Castiel must now live with the two best Hunters in the world, and do his best not to get killed. Yet, as he grows to know them, he begins to like them and become their friend. Now, he must protect them from his family, for what they would do to them would be unpleasant in the least.
If Castiel can't protect Sam and Dean, they could die. He can either let the two men who he has become like family with and even taking a liking to one of them, die . . . Or he can die protecting them.

Castiel is dead, what of? The doctor's are still working on it. But then two years go by, and it's 1983, and it's identified as AIDS, caused by HTLV-III/LAV, which was the thing that killed Cas.
It was too late for Castiel though, they didn't get it to him in time. Dean still has to go on without Cas, he still has to live without the love of his life. It isn't fair, is it? That he has to continue living, miserable.

Being an Alpha is no easy thing, especially when you're in a family full of them and you're the youngest. Your words are lost among them, you're a flea on a dog. You're ignored. Being an Alpha was no easy thing, especially when you're all alone and have no Omega by your side.
Living in fear is usually what an Omega does. But, being alone is also something normal for Omega's, not this one.
