hax would make 2wink type banger music. also he has a meowingnoises

beach themed rsg unit (aquacorde/skycrab/jay) that always have things (wr chokes) happening to them somehow

silverr/reign/doogile unit that attempts to be like knights type fanservice but they are so horribly bad at it. also they end up getting popular by fanservicing each other instead

you would Think parker rekrap would be in trickstar. no he's actually in crazyb

Honestly the idea of alt accounts being like a separate character/other pseudonym they perform and write music for would be really fun. I agree with Hax having that type of music..

The aquacorde/skycrab/jay chokes is foul 😭😭 they still have die hard fans who love them but yeah they’d constantly have something catastrophic happen at the last second of their performance (skycrab having a random piece of the set fall on him, Jay slipping off stage, other unpredictable things) but when nothing goes wrong they’re practically guaranteed a win in competitions

Silverr doog reign group would go crazy, I know their music would sound so elegant but they’d be so awkward about it at first. Then in their mvs they wouldn’t be able to keep their hands off each other. Also silverr collabs with everyone and does the same schtick with them too, in this world he also has his many many boyfriends.

I’m trying to figure out what runners in a unit would have Valkyrie type music bc they’re my favorite unit ever and it’s not even close

Wonder how Phantoms or Haruipas relation to the Rainbow Guardians is like? And from most to least which Fenrir like to spar with the most(or the list if he actually has)

They were made alongside each other so it's not like they were surprised or anything like that. I think initially, Harpuia and Phantom considered them coworkers but after spending sometime with Rock and Roll they came around to the idea of them being family. They really care about their cousins.

I don't feel like going through the whole list so I'll just say who they like and spend the most with.

Harpuia spends a lot of time with Acapella since they both work in the sky and is usually on the receiving end of her zoomies. It becomes a rule to stay at least 6 ft from Harpy when Acapella gets jittery. He doesn't mind, he knows that's just how Acapella shows she cares, but he has his limits just like everyone else. At least he has Opera and Roll to keep him sane.

Phantom mostly chills with Serenade since she's so calm. They do their own thing for the most part but they like the quiet time they spend together. Phantom appreciates Serenade's level headedness when it comes to stressful situations. He also gets along with Baroque and agrees with his belief that Neo Arcadia is doing more harm than good to their family. He just doesn't believe leaving Neo Arcadia will solve all their problems.

Fefnir no doubt spends the most time with Legato and is his favorite cousin. They have similar energy and spar pretty regularly, they even work in the same area so it was hard for them not to get along. Solo's also pretty fun to fight since he's so frosty, helps keep each other on their toes. I don't think Fefnir and Solo are besties or anything like that but there's mutual respect there.

Although a Megaman/Mario crossover feels unlikely. Your headcanons on the Koopalings make me wonder, which do you think is the counterpart to one of the Four Guardians and maybe which is a counterpart to which Rainbow Guardian?

Ummmm, I gotta be honest, I got nothing.

At most I could entertain the Koopalings and the guardians meeting each other but trying to figure out whose each others "counterpart" is difficult for me. I only recently remembered the Koopalings existed at all and only have a few snippets of a story I can conjure up for them, so I can't really compare them to the guardians even if I wanted to.

I'll just leave that up to your imagination.

If your Rainbow Guardians oc were boss fights, which do you think would be most enjoyable, annoying, memorable? I suppose I'm thinking it like more a modernization of MMZ but can be anything.

And if one of them had a playable mode, who would it be? From the way you describe them Baroque seems almost fitting for the role of tritagonist in a like secret "true route" or something. But I wonder who you'd pick?

The original Four Guardians would probably each have a single playable level in "original modernization" story. With maybe an arcade style "Boss mode"

Not too sure about individual boss fights, but maybe they can team up with each other? I'll just leave the boss mechanics up to your imagination. If nothing else, X's guardians are mandatory fights since Zero's actively seeking X himself. Fighting Rock and Roll's guardians would be entirely optional and are more to get the full picture of what X went through during the Elf wars. Either that or they're secret bosses you can find in certain rooms throughout the game.

You bring up something interesting about Baroque and this "true ending," but sadly he wouldn't be playable. After seeing the aftermath of Zero's actions on X, someone who Baroque considers close family, it would make sense for him to keep Zero as far away as possible. Maybe not a tritagonist like you suggested, but an antivillain since he isn't aligned with Neo Arcadia or Zero. Baroque's entirely on his own side where he wants to keep his family safe and happy. X has admitted that he has mixed feelings about Zero and both resents and misses him. Baroque believes Zero has hurt X enough already and refuses to allow him to hurt his dear uncle anymore than he already has. Maybe near the end of this route, Zero realizes the gravity of the consequences of his actions. Realizing that reuniting with X isn't healthy for either of them. Maybe the "true ending" is where Zero leaves for good and X remains with his family to govern Neo Arcadia.

Honestly the only way I could see any of the guardians being playable is through minigames. Maybe if you get a high enough score, you find extra secrets.

Random thing to mention as an idea, Chiptune and Velgaurder hanging out while their owners are having some sort of meeting or something along those lines

I dunno my brain just thinks the doggies should just chill together while X and Sigma are doing something related to their job

guy whos actually watching chapter 3

i think the boards for fein!tenna could legit just be draftout mc gameplay or segments of aa runs. every rejection or comment about it being unfun he bristles up to argue about it before wilting if they even display an inkling of not wanting to go for another ("whats the FUN in stopping now when you could grow your STREAK BIGGER?" he gets sad as fuck. could also do some construction like games or hipixel minigames segment that he begrudgingly throws in. hell it could even be blackout since its a trio. him having a wall of records and all the times are just his times in the game. look hard enough around in rooms like the s rank changing room and you can find his and couri's duo times. (convo during board 2 (trios/duos run could be him talking abt tech that he and couri did and he remembers about couri and he shuts up and his antenna wilt and he disappears for a bit before coming back)

he probably grows and shrinks like So often. not uncommon for him to suddenly go tiny then go right back to being massive. no size transition just goes tiny and big. ranked 3v1 against him and quizzes are all niche mc knowledge. gets so upset if he gets something wrong or if he loses like he did in the art u did

The main boards would be draftout games and if the fun gang doesn’t do well enough (doubtful bc Mongey, Rowl, and Hax are all exceptional but the player is controlling so shhhh and also Mongey has his curse of losing to Fein) and the sword route/shadow mantle games could be AA themed instead of draftout (trident instead of sword)

He’d throw in niche Minecraft quizzes, stuff like the bastion website where you get an image of a random part of a bastion, etc etc. and I love the idea of them playing a random slop hypixel game in the middle LMAO. Right after an intense draftout game the trio has to do a round of build battle where Fein will accuse them of knowing the word list if they get the word before him.

The entire green room would be decorated with Feinberg’s wins and awards. Interacting with them, Fein would have something cocky but also something negative to say about every single one.

On him growing and shrinking, I love to think of him slowly deflating when he gets a good time because of how nitpicky he gets with his PBs and how he could have done this or that differently, it could have been better. There’s no winning with him after a game, he’ll shrink if he wins or loses, but during it he’ll grow huge yelling that they’re getting fucked
