There are some things from recent months that just won’t get out of my head, as much as I try.

During a “Cleveland PD, what do you say, how many kids have you killed today” chant, officers smiling and saying, “Just the one.”

STL County charging us randomly one night, when we were on a sidewalk.

Watching on the livestream working Jail Support as STL Metro police shot tear gas at my friends. One of them got set on fire from a canister. That one shows up in nightmares where it isn’t tear gas and rubber bullets anymore.

I’m lucky to have amazing friends to help me through this. This shit is fucking tough.

I'm still learning to think my hair is pretty.

When I say I don't know how I feel about something, it's probably because I have so many thoughts going around that I'm still trying to figure out.

I'm so not ready to leave for Germany. I need to get my shit together.

I'm so lucky for the people I've met since August. They are so beautiful and important.

General Life Update

So, I've said it a few times, but I'll make it all concise right now. I'm going to be spending spring/summer semester this year at the University of Bonn. I'm leaving March 2nd, and my flight gets in the morning of March 3rd. I'll be there until late July/early August. I'm planning on travelling to Berlin and Munich at some point. If you're nearby, we need to meet up!

Also, I am planning on going to the Köln-Bremen and Germany-USA games in Köln, so let me know if you're going to that! Also, if you have any advice on tickets/seats, let me know!
