dude i'm sobbing my physics teacher won't let me re-do an assignment that i missed even though she didn't tell us the assignment even EXISTED and now my grade is low :(
oh my gosh no that’s so bad!! are you the only one who missed it or are there other people?? did she tell y’all why she’s not letting you guys redo the assignment?? that’s honestly so horrible omg and she should try to be lenient since the times are quite different right now and there’s a lot to think about. at the very least, she should try to understand your reasoning and maybe give you half the grade or something. maybe you could ask for any extra credit opportunities?? it’s still quite early in the school year so there will definitely be lots of opportunities for you to bring your grade up!! also the fact that she didn’t remind y’all of the assignment and then won’t even let you guys redo it?? that’s the part that i’m not vibing well with like dude what. nevertheless, if you really can’t do anything about it, i advise just focusing on upcoming assignments and making sure you check everywhere, ask her, and write them down on a planner so something like this doesn’t happen again!! i really do think she should’ve been more lenient bcs so many students are just adjusting to the new school year and especially that it’s different this year, but i don’t know her perspective so i guess we should just accept what she says and let her do her thing. also, if we’re on the topic of physics, i took ap physics 1 and it was quite literally my worst nightmare in my entire academic career like the teacher didn’t even really care abt assignments but, me, with math and science not being my forte, had such a difficult time with the subject and had to teach myself everything again when i got home. needless to say, it was not fun at all!! i hope you’re doing okay, megan, and know that you’ll definitely have more chances to get your grade up and show your teacher that you’re a stellar student that she shouldn’t mess with!! 🤍✨
