Megateuthis
Megateuthis gigantea – один з найбільших відомих видів белемнітів. Довжина ростра (частина внутрішньої раковини) M. gigantea, який був знайдений в середньоюрських відкладеннях Європі та Азії, досягала 46 см, а загальна довжина тіла цієї тварини могла доходити до 3 м.
