Last spring, when I got my first apartment I had my parents send me some berbere and shiro. My dad was like don't eat too much berbere otherwise you'll mess your stomach up. But I ate shiro or zigni sga like every week. Last summer, when I was in Eritrea my dad would try to order shit tsada for me all the time. Tell people I don't like berbere thinking I can't understand him. Once he left though I ate a whole thing of qolwa everyday for two months. This year... My stomach can't do it. Now I am sitting here eating a ham sandwich.
