I tried to submit this using my tumblr app on my phone, but I don't think it worked. If it did, sorry for the duplicate. I basically love everything you write (both fics and just general opinions / postings) and pretty much agree with most of what you post. One of my friends sent me this article, because we are both obsessed with DW and had a long discussion after the 50th. As I was reading it, I wondered to myself if you had seen it and what your thoughts were regarding the main point.
Tumblr mobile stuff seems to be hit or miss, I had to stop using the mobile app on my tablet and just go straight through firefox to do anything interesting.
While I find the idea presented interesting (that the Bad Wolf was in fact also the Moment instead of the Moment simply using the Bad Wolf's form) I don't agree with the argument. Part of it coudl be that I just did not like the way that the Day of the Doctor rewrote the Time War. Part of it could be that unlike the author I actually enjoyed most of the Zygon plot and thought that it was the most Doctor-like bit of the episode (excepting the way Queen Elizabeth was portrayed that I am not a fan of at all). I don't believe that that Moment was actually the Bad Wolf. The Moment says, quite definitively that it chose that form specifically for the Doctor and that the form it chose was not, in fact Rose Tyler, but the Bad Wolf. Also the entity that let Ten and Eleven into the bit when Eight and a half supposedly Time Locked the War could have just as easily been the Moment itself. There's no requirement for Bad Wolf to have been involved.
And lastly I don't like the idea of Steven Moffat playing with the Bad Wolf any more than he absolutely must, including her image. Yeah I get that Billie Piper wouldn't look the same as she did in The Parting of the Ways so a wardrobe change was necessary but that only solidifies the idea that this is not actually the Bad Wolf merely another entity wearing her form. And the Moment apparently has a consceince, so maybe it decided that implimenting the Time Lock was wrong and worked to prevent that (personally I think they got the translation wrong--it wasn't a conscience, it was a consciousness which emphasizes that the Moment is sentient and capable of distinguishing between right and wrong but that's a headcanon not an actual bit of canon so take it as you will).
Anyway! I hope that answered your question, and thanks for bringing it to my attention! :D It was an interesting read.
