6093 woke up from standby mode and yawned. Wait, he wasn't able to yawn. His model didn't have that function. The maintenance bot looked down at his hands, and noticed they were smooth and cool -- None of the rough surfaces he got from work, and none of the warmth he got from overheating.
Rushing to the restroom on the floor, he finally saw himself in the mirror. And he was... He was like new again. His face plates were shining, his eyes glowing brighter, and his fans, usually whirling loudly and struggling to keep up, were humming quietly and efficiently. Even his processors were faster, as his thoughts came more quickly and without any trouble.
Who did this? How did it happen in such a short amount of time? Either way, it... Actually wasn't that bad.
