Law school was the hardest thing ever. When they said law was one of the hardest out of all the majors they weren’t lying, and to top it off the professor they got was the most stern and strict person ever. Despite this, you still stayed on top and took some court cases, extra credit, and anything else that kept you on the top of the scoreboard. Being the top student also meant that your professor made you an example to the class.
It was a blessing since being at the top meant he’d tutor you on stuff you didn’t understand. And even though he was a stern bastard, he was a sexy bastard.
Second semester though was a kick in the ego department since the work, notes, and court cases got progressively harder and it was stressing you out since if your grade slipped below a C, you’d get kicked out or sent to a under program for law students. So, you did what every stressed out student would do in a time of need.
You cheated.
You cheated hard. It wasn’t major cheating but it was enough to suddenly bring your grade up from a high C to a A+ in a matter of a week. It was a time of need and you didn’t want to drop your classes, and you didn’t want to leave your handsome tutor either.
But, Hiraguma wasn’t stupid. It was unusual for your grade to drop then suddenly rise in a week—and the assignments would take more than just a day —at the very least weeks to make up half of this work. So, he knew you either cheated or turned it in on a whim. That wasn’t like his star student at all and he’d have to talk to you on your tutoring days.

Monday was the start of a new week and today was their tutoring session, adjusting his tie as he saw you walk in his office. You always walked in with a nervous but confident demeanor, but he didn’t like the nervousness—Lawyers aren’t supposed to nervous when their clients life was in their hands.
“Did you lock the door?” He asked, leaning his head in hands. When you nodded yes he motioned for you to sit in front of him, standing and grabbing a folder of papers.
“I saw your grades went up. Guess you’ve been studying for your exams, hm?” He asked, standing next to your seat. You nodded, starting to get nervous about him bringing up your grades.
“Lawyers look everyone in the eyes when asked with a question—you know this.” He walked closer, dropped the folder and opening it up. He leaned against your seat from behind, his head tilted as he looked your obviously cheated assignments.
“You dont write like this at all, and there’s discrepancies in your work. Have you been studying during your court cases?” Hiraguma stared down at you with those perpetually tired eyes that were equally intense and attractive. His stare made your mouth go dry and you kept your gaze down as you lied and said yes.
He leaned down, his big arms caging you in your seat. Hiraguma tilted his head to look at your face, noting the small seat on your brows, how you fidgeted with your fingers. It was all signs of a liar. But, he still wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt.
You were still his favorite.
“Why aren’t you looking at me? What did I say about eye contact?” He asked, his gaze deepening as he got closer to your face. Nervously, you looked up at him and said yes again, stumbling as you tried so hard to keep your gaze on his face and not the ground below.
“Guilty people always stutter when they’re presented with a threat, dear.” Hiraguma said, one of his arm that were caging you came up to grab your face, his thumb and forefinger holding your cheek so hard that your lips pursed out a little. His hands were surprisingly soft with a little bit of roughness that naturally came with a man like him.
“Did you cheat on your assignment, [name]? I thought I taught you that I don’t like dancing around a topic for so long.” He asked, listening to you explain that second semester was basically kicking your butt, but you swore up and down you didn’t cheat on anything since if he found out, only god knows what he’d do.
He just hummed, standing up straight as he walked towards his perfectly neat folders and grabbed a sheet of paper and placed it in front of you. He handed you a pen and went back to caging you in his arms, looking down at you.
“Let’s test your knowledge then. If you want to keep that A, then show me you know your stuff.” He demanded, pointing to the worksheet. You didn’t study for weeks, just copying and cheating so all of your prior knowledge went out the window. Hell, you didn’t pay attention in any of his lessons since you didn’t expect him to find out so fast.
Plus, you could feel his presence and it was strong. He wasn’t happy.
You nervously tried to work on the task at hand, gulping as your hand shook violently. Hiraguma shook his head each time you got a question wrong, his tone leveled and scarily calm.
“Wrong again.” He said, letting out a deep sigh. “You’re my star student—a soon to be lawyer, and you can’t do this? Where’s your head at?” He leaned his head down, his breath hitting your neck as he muttered. “I can’t have my favorite student flunking this bad—not when you represent me..”
He removed one of his hands from the desk and brung it up to your neck, his big hand wrapping your throat with firmness but still being gentle not to actually choke you. He could feel you suddenly tense up, your breath hitching as you sat stiffly. He crack the tiniest smirk and spoke, his voice low and calculated.
“Can you try and remember what I taught you? Im getting impatient.” Hiraguma asked, watching you nod and look at a different question. His presence, his hand that caressed your pulse point, it was all so distracting and it was unclear if you wanted to purposely fail just so he wouldn’t leave.
By the grace of any heavenly being, you got a question right, letting out a sigh of relief. That same sigh caught in your throat as he pressed his mouth on your neck, slowly kissing on it as he murmured.
“Good job. I knew you had it in you.” He murmured, his lips moving agonizingly slow up and down your neck. “Keep going—finish the assignment’
It took all your willpower to not just sit there and focus on his lips and hand, but every time you so much as slowed your writing down, he’d stop. It was torture in the best way possible. When you did get questions right, he’d was rewarding it with a praises of acknowledgment—slightly biting on your neck.
Finally, you actually finished the assignment and he let out a hum of approval, removing his head off your neck and looked at your assignment to fact check it.
“See? You had no reason to cheat in your recent work.” He said, placing it down and going to sit in his chair. Once he sat down, he motioned for you to come here, patting his lap.
“Let me give you a reward.’
Your face immediately got hot—was he actually telling you to sit on his lap? Did he just mean come here? Regardless, you stood up and walked to his seat, standing over him. His hand came up to rest on your lower back, pulling you on his lap so you straddled his thigh. He looked up at you with his tired eyes and smirked, noting that your hands trembled.
“Are you nervous?” Hiraguma asked, raising a brow as you shook your head no, not wanting to show that you were indeed nervous. His free hand that was originally on the armrest of he seat came up to your hip, rubbing circles on you.
“Look me in my eyes—it’s rude to not appropriately look at someone when they’re gifting you something.” He whispered, his hand on your hip trailing down to your thigh, sliding to your inner thigh.
He leaned closer to you, tilting his head to look at you properly as his hand on your back scooted you closer to him. He was so handsome up close from the way he looked up at you like you were the most attractive thing ever, to the way his eyes flickered to your lips. It all felt surreal.
“i hope you didn’t think your lesson was over.” He whispered, noting how your eyes widened a bit. He chuckled a bit before leaning closer, his lips dangerously close to yours.
“You violated a code from your cheating, and it’s up to me you make up for 4 weeks of work.” He said, burying in your neck and nipping at it.
