I was crying in my room late at night when all of the sudden there was a knock at my door. It was Jamie 'lightly' knocking to see if I was up because he had had another nightmare. when I didn't respond he let himself in (I had previously told him if I wasn't up he could just let himself in because I was tired of waking up in the middle of the night to let him in).

I tried to stop crying, be quiet and go to sleep but I couldn't stop. Jamie eventually heard me and said "mei, are you crying" and I said in a very unsteady voice "uh...no"

"It sure sounds like you are what's the matter?"

I sat up and looked at him, my face all red and puffy and I tried to tell him about my guilt and how it made no sense that my cryo pod was the only one that didn't fail and how life moved on with out me and how we were just abandoned in Antarctica and everything that was upsetting and confusing me but it was all incoherent blubbering because the second I started to talk it was just a faucet of tears and I don't think anyone could have understood a word of it. Jamie just got up on the bed and held me as I cried.

I remember he was the opposite of how most guys I know are. Most guys I know hate to sleep in a shirt but Jamie liked to sleep in a shirt and then would be shirtless during the day. I mostly remember this cuz I hid my face in his chest (he actually smelled really nice) and there was a big wet spot on his shirt and I felt bad because some of my snot was probably on there too. I offered to wash it for him but he didn't seem to care.

I tried on Lena’s harness once and damn that thing was heavy. I was so afraid of dropping it even though it was built to take a beating

For a log time I got the sense that my endothermic gun was a gift from my overwatch friends but I also remembered making it in Antarctica and I finally figured it out!

It was both. The gun I made was kinda sloppy but it was a great scientific achievement and it saved my life so I held on to it and kept using it after I got back even though it was kind of a mess. My overwatch buddies gave me the update and fresh one as a gift.

I still kept my old one but I didn’t use it anymore (it was a little unreliable)

I never blamed the snow for what happened, everyone expected me to but I didn’t. My love for the snow continued even after the incident and still continues to this very day as I sit on my porch and watch the snowfall.

However I was terrified of going to sleep and I was a bit on edge during blackouts.

sometimes I still have sleeping problems but I’m not as afraid anymore

I remember Moira. I don’t remember a lot about talon but I remember her.

She wasn’t a scientist, she was a monster. Saying we held back science. That’s bullshit! She did! She held us back with bad reputations for science. Because of her, everything we did had to be closely monitored and no one just trusted us. UGH! I hate her!

McCree got flustered really easily, making it fun to mess with him. Me, Lena and Hana would all randomly flirt with him just to tease him.
