Meimão Barragem
Today was such a stunning day. We packed some lunch & drinks and headed off for Meimão again to show Angie, Tim & Cuy the place. We only arrived at 12h30 so it was super packed wirh not much shade so we decided to drive around the dam to see if we could find another spot to chill at. Well let me tell you it seemed like we were driving forever as you came around the corner there was another little cove and another little cove which seemed to go on forever but wow so worth it !! We found the best swimming spot with a private beach of our own where the water was so fresh and clear and there was even some rocks to jump off on the other side of the dam. We all had the most glorious day and you know when the kids are having too much fun to fight you have struck it lucky lol. We dropped a pin so we can defo find this place again as it’s a real gem 💎❤️ Ended the night as we do most nights by lying outside and stargazing and using the sky guide app to discover all the northern hemisphere constellations and mythology tied to it. You won’t believe how bright Jupiter and Saturn are here it’s incredible !
