My (Super Simple) Danmei Ref Master Post

Very self indulgent 2ha modern!Au where Mo Ran clocks on the Mei twins wanting Xue Meng but he is 100% against it.

The problem is not so much Older!Mei than Younger!Mei due to his reputation. Mo Ran’s like "that’s my baby cousin we’re talking about and he won’t be another trophy on your hunt board !". And since the Mei twins seems set on sharing Xue Meng, Older!Mei is guilty by association.

Cue Mo Ran enrolling Ye Wangxi (who also dislike Younger!Mei for the same reasons) to c*ckblock the three one them.

Guess who’s also there ? Nangong Si, who’s a bit jealous Ye Wangxi’s spending so much time with Mo Ran.

The Mei twins understand very quickly what’s happening. Now they’re trying to set up Ye Wangxi and Nangong Si (hopefully, honeymoon phase will distract her from them). They’re also trying to find someone for Mo Ran, not knowing he’s dating Chu Wanning (who’s watching this mess from the sides, lowkey agreeing with Mo Ran about Younger!Mei not being good for Xue Meng)

Shenanigans ensues, somehow Nangong Si and Ye Wangxi get their shit together and so do the Mei Twins and Xue Meng. Mo Ran is now crying on Chu Wanning’s lap because his plan failed (it’s okay, he’ll get over it once he understands the Twins were serious about Xue Meng)

Anyway, I love Xue. I don't care about everyone else's story, I feel so bad for this kid. Just imagine: his brother wanted to throw a party at their house, Xue doesn't agree, but what can you do.

He goes out to get some air for about 10 minutes.

He comes home and there's half dead bodies, the third brother's smoked out, and that dog somehow dragged your teacher and locked himself in his room with him on his parents' bed.

..and then he's approached by two shady-looking guys..
