Race, Size, Reflex, Dexterity, Wisdom, Charisma, Luck, and Sanity.
Race - What is your favourite fantasy / sci-fi race (i.e. elf, gnome, dwarf, etc etc) to play and why?
I don’t really have a favourite race to play. Not humans.
Size - What’s the biggest monster your party has ever taken on? How did it go?
A True Fae in Changeling the Lost. It went surprisingly well, especially since our GM actually ramps up the difficulty for Gentry, since the rules for them being like Wyrd 10 changelings in the mortal world is dumb considering how they’re described. We killed it. Or ‘killed’ it, since True Fae can’t necessarily be killed.
In Pathfinder, I think the biggest thing I’ve fought is some kind of pit fiend? That was a very long time ago, in the first (technically second) campaign I ever played.
Reflex - What was the worst accidental disaster that your PC ever caused?
… Speaking of Gentry, we accidentally summoned one to our Freehold.
Dexterity - What was the most daring / crazy / unlikely stunt your PC pulled off?
I think that my entire thing is my PCs pulling off daring/crazy/unlikely stunts. I don’t know that I can choose. Let me do a few.
Pandora: Defeated a group of hunters almost entirely on her own because the rest of her group was confused or incapacitated. She killed a bunch of them, which is impressive because she has a phobia of blood to the point of feeling faint when she sees it. The Mask helped. :)
Aiden: Doing this every three seconds. I guess the most dramatic was voluntarily paralysing himself to give Bunny an automatic success to her rolls while we were trying to escape from a True Fae. Our Storyteller confirmed afterwards that we wouldn’t have been able to escape its world if Aiden hadn’t done that.
Kay: More on the unlikely scale, he resurrected a mage through a series of totally accidental events lining up for a very specific and convoluted power to be to be used (allowed by the Storyteller because it was practically perfect in every way).
Wisdom - What’s the stupidest thing your PC has ever done?
So many. My mantra is ‘players are dumb’. But I guess I’d rank the stupidest thing my character has done as: Saying ‘Yes’.
Charisma - What’s your favourite NPC from any game?
Can I have two? Brightstar and Filip, for different reasons. I think Brightstar will always hold a special place in my heart for being the character to make me really understand and appreciate what changelings go through, and from that the game as a whole. Also he’s a sweetheart.
Filip, on the other hand, I like for both what he brings to the story as a terrifying, immensely powerful being who won’t take shit from anybody, as well as his actual character. One of the reasons for that being that there isn’t really anything personality-wise from his character that I identify as being from the gm (which sounds bad when I say it like that but bear with me). Most characters share a base personality with any gm, because... well, it’s the person creating them. As someone who has never been able to make a character I think was completely different to me, I find it incredibly impressive that the gm has been able to do that.
Honorary mention to T’challa for single-handedly saving Kay for me.
Luck - What was the best tabletop role-playing experience you ever had?
There are honestly so many I can’t think of one in particular... Even the immense stress of trying to beat the literal clock in Lost and Found, then the relief when we didn’t die, or all the feels from New Wave are all part of an amazing rp experience.
Sanity - What was the worst tabletop role-playing game you’ve been a part of?
I’m not really interested in saying a worst game. But I personally don’t like Better Angels as a system.
