after death amnesia anon, personally as a kami I'd feel so much more guilty if Patapons would get amnesia after dying. That would shatter families, it's like a completely different person was replacing the one that was dead. I couldn't bear anymore to send them to war.

FOR REAL it would put me on such high alert and make me even MORE cautious not to kill them... and the guilt I'd feel if they'd died due to my mistakes or inattention OUGHHH horrible...... at this point stop the damn war, I'm talking to Kharma and Ormen on my own </3

we're ignoring the fact that the Zigotons and Karmens most likely don't have regenerative abilities beyond devil deals and have been going through this exact scenario the entire time minus the revival. that's irrelevant /j

I like to think that incestism is a bit of a culture in the tribes while only a few also allow the child grooming and exploitation.

(not to mention that Zigotons is probably kidnapping children and keeping em in their basement. Cough cough. 10 years old girls and adult young, mid aged men. 👅)

now I'm picturing a war general or something learning about an intertribal relationship and going "disgusting, pathetic" and the tribe later learns he actually had a boyfriend too but he overplayed disgust to save the appearances for his couple.

many such cases… so afraid of being caught that you make sure no one will ever suspect you… even if that means lying to yourself and hurting the ones you love (by destroying their home and murdering their friends & family)

imagine the guilt the general feels after the peace agreement and all those repressed feelings rise to the surface… and the amount of mourning they’ll have to go through together. so much pain and regret and i-told-you-so’s and blaming and 🤤 they will never be the same

eh probably even before the whole Patapon tribe was at peace with the Zygoton tribe, there were cases of Disney Pocahontas like "hey they aren't so bad I even got a boyfriend out of one of them, but go tell my tribe that, they'll kill him on sight". Maybe more than once and they would be surprised when they're finally at peace like "wait, you guys too already had a date on the other side?!"

there ABSOLUTELY were cases of this. no war or laws or societal shaming can truly stop people from doing what they want, for worse and for better!! <3 I’m sure lots of people were sooo relieved to finally stop needing to hide their love…and were ecstatic to know they weren’t the only ones who struggled through it all!

I think it would be really cute/funny if there were high-ranking people who were also keeping a secret relationship or had a crush on someone from the other tribe (for example, Meden and Gong, or Gong and Hatapon—looks at solitaire and nods lol)… they knew deep down that the war was wrong and completely unnecessary to meet their mutual goals, but that they were powerless to convince their peers without severe reprimand or even death. wait that’s actually kinda messed up… uhmm i meant it would be cute when they can finally hold one another comfortably and force acceptance out of their peers lol

for being so violent and blind towards the lives of other tribes, they sure are very loving and happy people toward one another… it’s as sweet as it is deeply worrying how they can’t piece together that maybe zigotons and karmens feel the same way?
