Hi so I actually have a couple old singers, all nonfunctioning unfortunately, but I've been trying to fix them up. But you can look up the serial number on the plate up and see the specific model name, number, and manufacturing date! And use that to look up the specific specs! Best news about yours is that since it looks like it's in fab condition, you only really need to replace the band from the wheel to treadle and it should be good to go as long as there's no rust inside!!

ooo thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely do some more research on it through that! yeah from what i can see there isn’t any rust, the band is just coming apart. whoever had it before me must’ve hardly touched it. I appreciate this so much, thank you!! 💕

sweetheart - favorite mug/cup?

it’s a white teacup with orange flowers that i bought at the local anthropologie because it was on sale for like, 6 bucks? it’s not exactly my style but it somehow became my favourite - i’ve used it practically every day for over 5 years now. i realized a little while ago that i have a problem drinking out of thicker-walled mugs and cups but this teacup is both thin-walled and large, so it’s the best of both worlds and i love it.
