I feel like no one would be able to tell if they were dating.
Like MelBel isn't particularly touchy in public in general. Though I think it would spark some kind of "Are they or aren't they" rumour that neither addresses.
Until Alcina hears about it and goes all protive, anyway.

MelBel makes innuendos, not unknowingly, but it is unintentional.
Like one of them will say something that just kinda happens to sounds dirty, and then they'll get a snort or a weird look from someone and immiderately go "You know I don't mean it like that -_-".
It gets passed the point of embarrassing to just annoying when it gets pointed out.
They're well aware. And they both started choosing their words way more carefully. (They're pretty sure half the time people are just being immature/looking for it, though.)
