Luxefash department store Harrold's was relaunched this morning by a brace of Melbourne's luminous Poulakis family; Mary, John, Alexander and Ross. This incarnation of their mens' and now, womenswear empire, is racked like art across three gorgeous floors; Balenciaga, Margiela, Thom Browne, Rick Owens, Kenzo, Victoria Beckham, Vetements, and the list goes on and deliciously on. Milling among the A-Lister's this morning, A-plusplus stylist and wardrobe consultant Suzy Crittenden was already guiding one of her clients - this one (notice my discretion, like Suzy's) renowned for her exceptional grace and sartorial style - around the racks. Early and nice endorsement, I thought, for a cracking store, staff who are warm and sweet, and garments you can try on, grateful there's no shoptheft alarm chain thingy looped through its arm and neck holes.
