“ppl need to stop saying that WW isnt being promoted when a literal...”
:
I don't watch live TV, so I don't see commercials, but based on billboards and internet ads, it doesn't look like WW is being promoted as much as it could. I'm so glad they're releasing commercials and trailers, but I'd like to see more.
If you dont watch tv, how will you see the commercials? WW has been highly promoted on tv, there are internet ads through twitter, youtube, facebook, tumblr (where ppl post gifs of said commericals), i go into los angeles at least once a week and im bombarded with billboards within the CITY and the freeways. i go into a store and there’s WW merchandise. its being advertised in spanish language channels. there are shirts. there’s bangles. there’s action figures. gal gadot and chris pine released one of the trailers at the kid’s choice awards (that was broadcast on tv) going in for their big key audience, young girls and boys.
the advertisement is the there. wb\dc has put the money out (more money than they spent on ‘suicide squad’).
gal gadot’s face is everywhere. maybe you just aren’t looking for it, and im not saying that to be mean, bc maybe im biased bc i live an hour to 2 hrs away fm big cities. but i also live in a small town and i cant go into wal mart or wal greens or a grocery store like Staters without seeing WW promoted one way or another.
But this myth that it’s not being advertised well is 1) a lie and 2) done with the intent to hurt WW by disguising it as WB not caring about WW. Which is stupid, bc why would WB speed up WW’s premiere date two weeks ahead of the original schedule if they wanted it to fail? WB doesn’t want WW to fail. DC doesn’t want WW to fail. But other ppl do and I won’t stand for it.
