Holy crap, I'm finally catching up on the second season of SAO, and just got to episode 18 and am so fucking pumped about an Asuna arc. First half Kirito main character, second half Asuna \o/

Asuna’s arc is the best arc of the whole season omg you’re gonna be  in for a lOT OF FUCKING TEARS

I’m just lying in bed with my fan on full blast. Fuck this weather.

I finally gave in and turned on the aircon (gotta watch those gas bills), and that was only because my housemate is getting home from work soon and she doesn't deserve to come home to a steaming hot house.

But I am thankful that I no longer live in the bushfire-prone area I grew up in and don't have to worry for the safety of my house

EYYYYYY! Always a good thing to hear. Seems like the stats I saw the other day that Australians as a whole are becoming more left-wing in their voting are actually true (hopefully that will extend to booting Abbott at the first possible opportunity)

Working in the service industry is horrible because so many of the customers feel that they have this power over you and therefore the harassment gets much worse. I constantly get hit on by guys either aggressively, or with shitty pick up lines. I've also had many men tell me how ugly or unworthy I am. I've even had a customer place his hand around my waist when I was cleaning tables out front while he was making conversation with me, and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. It all just sucks.

About Google, would your friend maybe consider taking care of him for a couple of months while you set up, he recovers, and see how happy he is with them? You could make a definitive decision after that so you aren't quite so heart broken and there's more hope for being together with a healthy kitty?

I've almost definitely given in to the idea of letting my friends take care of him... he's already lived with one of them, and her cat. But a couple of months would be more like a couple of years, probably -- see, we're moving from one corner of the country to the other, and getting back would be a chore in and of itself, much less finding a rental that takes pets in the meantime.

I'm holding out hope that I can get back to bring him home to me, but if he's happy with my friends and their animals, I'd actually be more content knowing he's HAPPY (with time) rather than take a chance on him being unhappy with all of us and no other animals :/

It's a weird conundrum. I called out of work today and I'm still thinking about it a LOT, but I'm much more okay with the idea than I was last night, because I know it would save US money and HIM his health.
