“Hello?” Meline asked as she stepped into the building. “‘Devil May Cry’, huh?” She whispered as she looked around at the various weapons mounted on the walls. She shivered a little, folding her arms around herself.

Meline sat down hard at her desk. She sighed heavily, running her hand through her hair. She was emotionally drained and didn’t know if she could take much more that day. “God, I need a drink,” she muttered. “Well, that or a hug.”

“Is that...a block of tofu?” Meline squinted at the large block of tofu near her. She lowered her gun and approached the tofu carefully.

Chris knew she might be asleep at this hour so he makes sure to be quiet as much as he can. When he got close enough to the tree a few gifts are set down. One of them might be a watch she was looking for earlier in the year but never got the chance to find one.

Meline sipped her coffee the next morning and smiled. “Chris, you ready to open gifts? I think you’ll like what I got you.”

When she opened the smaller of the gifts that Chris got her, she gasped and beamed. “Oh my God, it’s that watch that I couldn’t take my eyes off earlier this year! Thank you so much!”

“You should play with my hair some more…” The phrase tumbled out of Meline’s mouth before she could stop it. She sighed, embarrassment and a little bit of horror waking her up a little more as she realized she had said that out loud.

“Oh, shit. I just said that out loud, didn’t I? Sorry.” She pulled away a little, rubbing her eyes.

The tailed beast didn't know where he was at. But, he knew this was not a safe place. He wanted to get out of this area soon. "Where am I?" Kurama mummers as he looks around.

Meline fired her shotgun at a zombie and winced. “Better get the hell out of here before the rest find me.” She turned and ran towards the exit and encountered a creature that was definitely not a zombie. “You’re in a zombie-infested place. Follow me and you’ll be safe.”

   ‘ mistletoe ’   accidental with Chris !

Meline was reading her next mission briefing when she glanced up and realized she nearly bumped into Chris. “Oh, sorry,” she muttered before folding the file over. “This is so riveting I forgot to look where I was gong.” She glanced up and her mouth dropped open a little.

“You do know you’re standing under mistletoe, right?” She asked Chris while pointing to the mistletoe hanging above his head.

She briefly considered going along with the mistletoe tradition but figured she’d wait for Chris’ reaction before asking for his permission.
