So I decided to watch Tower Heist today. And then I found myself in the Tower Heist tag. And found your gif. And noticed your fabulous url. And found my way to your page. At the beginning, I shipped Stelena. But as the show progressed, and the characters of Stefan and Damon were developed, I questioned it. Neither Stefan nor Damon are ideal boyfriends, but at least Damon is who he is. Stefan tries to hide half of himself away, while Damon doesn't deny his darker side. He's honest and forward and I respect that more. Then there's all that sexual tension of course. Stefan is comfortable to Elena but Damon and Elena challenge each other and make each other better.

My only criticism of the episode is that I feel like Stefan should have simply seen that Elena was conscious and Matt wasn't, freed Elena so she could swim towards the surface, and grabbed Matt. Or both of them even, he's a super strong vampire is he not? I mean, I get why they wanted to have him respect Elena's decision and therefore illustrate the strong difference between him and Damon, but I just thought he was an idiot watching it lol. But I also love Damon more so I'm biased lol
That's fucking true. Stefan could have saved Elena if he had free her cause she was still conscious. This scene just get dumber more we talk about it.
