The Future

This is an old game.

First thought, best thought.

We are different and same.

New origin stories break out and we are bound by nothing

but our Creativity.

I thought I saw a Poet brought to life.

Her face was warm with the freckled glow of a cosmic undertow.

She was the Earth, brown with chapped lips and thirsty eyes.

It was as if inside every tree was a human and

inside every word a universe of symbols.

This game of making the future is an old game.

I have turned away twice and the woods are thick with twilight.

Still I search.

Still I dream.

That's very presumptuous for someone to do that to you! Good point and you should be offended! You did not invite this person to revise your words... ----------- actually yes this is a new level. and i was really trying to take my time, last night and today, trying to figure out what exactly gets me so offended. since it is one thing,  not being able to take criticism seriously or being blind to the value of a good critique. i can handle someone telling me what they do, or do not like, suggesting me what could be changed but i can not handle someone making things worse and that with all the wrong intent. since the person, obviously had the intention of making it sound more "english" and that, is not even possible ;) besides that i am not perfect and have no problem with having revisions of my poetry but then i usually ask for it.

L'appel du vide

Never have I felt something so strong I levitate and gravitate off the ground my heart pounds to find all my soliloquies burn to ash and drift away my head seems fixed but not to my control and a flicker of your lashes sends me plummeting and into your void I fall.
