Life Introduction/Update
Helloo!
So, here is a life update/introduction since I haven’t shared anything about my personal life on here yet. Here goes nothing -
Hi, name is Lauren but you can call me LK - I am 21, married with 3 fur babies.
In 2019, my husband and I moved into my grandparents old home. I inherited it from them completely paid off (big time blessing, thanks nana & papa I love y’all). This gave us time to prepare and adjust ourselves to the married, grown up life. The only thing is it’s a very old trailer home that was bought used. It has already been in one house fire. They built onto it and added in some touching's here and there, but it’s not in a great location due to flooding and being like, 13 freaking MILES to the nearest gas station. (and for those of you who are gonna say “oH tHaT’s oNt aLoT” - let me just say, YES it is.
Anways,
Fast forward to today - I own a run down home that is not practical and completely cluttered with our stuff and theirs. Dennis and I need a fresh start so we started house shopping and found a house. Very exciting stuff, I know! We put in an offer, got the pre approval letter from the lender and now are just playing the waiting game to see if we’ve actually secured 30 years of debt. It’s kinda scary to be excited for that but ya know. I’ll keep you updated.
This has been the most stressful and emotional time of my life (and I’m a VERY emotional being btw). Listen, if someone were to have told me it was gonna be like this - I could have saved myself some trouble by starting this process in KINDERGARTEN.
Anyways, it’s after midnight and I do have a job to do tomorrow so this gal is headed to bed. Thanks for tuning in on this chaotic post.
