As Krag dragged himself to work thinking about his daughter, Mel couldn't wait to call Seth with the good news.. the next day she invited him to seasonal gardens.

'Congratulations, you are not the father!'

'Are you joking? I was ready to be a dad, Mel.. You told me I wouldn't see my kid?!'

'Oh sugar, I was just hormonal. Forgive me?'

'How am I meant to trust you?'

'Come see for yourself, lover boy.'

Priscilla Raynott - born Season 2, Summer

Melnix gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who she promptly named Priscilla. Not like Kragnor had much say in the matter anyway.

'Hey babe, there's this rumour going around town you're cheating on me. Isn't that crazy?'

'Ha... crazy'

Spring has come to an end for the Raynotts, Mel's on edge thinking about the birth of the baby. She hasn't really got a backup plan on what to say if it comes out a werewolf, but she's always been good at getting out of trouble so she's sure she'll figure it out. Krag on the other hand is ecstatic, he's just hoping he function on even less sleep than he's getting now.

Finally spring is over for Mel and what a ride that was. Weirdly enough Avi barely interacted with anyone at the party and Mel didn't seem to be looking for her either... I don't know how I'm going to play out this impromptu engagement but seeing as how Mel hasn't rolled any wants involving Avi since I can't see it ending well :(

I'm glad Mel is finally starting to form a relationship with her daughter though! Elderhood really does change people.

The last major thing to happen this season was Mel's birthday. With her and Krag's recent reconciliation, she invited both him and Pea to her small birthday beach party. Pea brought along Leon and Vanessa as she does with everything.

It would even appear Krag pulled Leon aside and gave him 'the talk', awkward..

That night, Mel invited Krag over for their first ever co-parenting conversation. Better late than never I guess.

Mel: 'She wants some styling experience, and it would be nice for her to earn some pocket money. I'd love to have her, if you're okay with it..'

Krag: 'Okay with it? Mel, I've been trying to get you to have a relationship with your daughter forever, I think it's a great idea.'

Mel: 'Even after everything I did to you?'

Krag: 'Mel, our problems shouldn't affect our daughter. She's a lot more like you than you think.'

Mel: 'Thank you, Krag.'

Regardless of all her concerns, business must go on! Mel opens the salon and to her surprise gets a visit from her estranged daughter with a request.

Mel: 'Priscilla! What can I - uh, what can I do for you?'

Pea: 'Hey mum, I was wondering if you had any jobs going?'

Mel: 'Really? Is your dad okay with you working for me?'

Pea: 'Um I haven't asked him, I just don't know if I really want to go to college yet so I was hoping I could get some styling experience.'

Mel: 'Well, let me talk to your dad first. But I'd love to give you a job princess.'

Pea: 'Thanks, mum.'
