And on the last day of her round, Rainelle Neengia invited her on an outing downtown. The two have got quite close after Rainelle's persistent phone calls.

Bella had a good outing, although I mainly only took pictures of Cyd lol.

I don't know what beef Patrizio has with him tho.

To summarise the next few days; some of her neighbours came over to introduce themselves and unfortunately Bella fell for Ajay's 'charm' too T_T

So she asked him out. During their date his roommate seemingly had a surge of confidence and tried to make out with Bella too? Flattering, but she rejected him. She's too classy for whatever he was implying.

She enjoyed her date with Ajay nonetheless and went to work. Inviting Kiernan Tricou home after their shift, Bella definitely has a thing for Tricou men.

I actually think these two look great together :')

Being cooped up in house must've been doing something to her, so she headed out to the local bar and swimming pool.

(the way I'm playing out this storyline is if someone particularly close to the Goths or anyone who lives in Pleasantview is on the same community lot as her, she has to leave immediately without them seeing. I know realistically the whole of Sim Nation would know who she is but I'm treating her as more of an urban legend in the other neighbourhoods)

It didn't last long before her literal son showed up. This is the first time I've seen Alex on community lots and ofc it had to be when I was playing Bella T_T

But luckily for her she didn't have to wait long before meeting a potential suitor. Gilbert Jacquet walked by the next day and the pair quickly got acquainted.

Strangetown - Round 1, Summer Bachelor; Bella

It was officially Bella's first round in hiding, and she planned on making the most out of it. She knew she wouldn't be able to live in secrecy forever, but for now she would have fun as a real romance sim.

This was the first time in a long time Bella had lived by herself, and it seemed to immediately take a toll on her. She woke up on the first morning of the season and could've sworn she saw someone familiar walking by..

Bella: '....Michael?'

It couldn't have been. Michael's been dead for years, she thought to herself.

Bella: 'I must be going mad.'

Those people must've just looked like her dead brother and his wife, right? Strangetown was a weird place, after all.

Well, after almost a year of maternity leave, I go back to work in the first week of August </3

I started this blog a few months after I had my son and it has been the absolute best outlet for me. It's been something I look forward to doing in my downtime, a way to keep my brain active with creative writing/reading during postpartum, and honestly a way to prove that becoming a mother didn't mean I had to stop having fun the way I wanted to.

I've been playing ts2 since the 2000's, and I remember when I was pregnant someone told me I'd 'never go on that game again' after having a baby. Why? I have no idea. Having a baby isn't some kind of prison, it's fun! I'm still me, with my interests I had before, I just love deeper and have a new best friend.

People make having a baby sound so scary. And I don't know if anyone needs to hear this rn but if you plan on having kids; keep playing your silly little games.

I will admit it's been hard mentally trying to accept this new change, your child being away from you 8 hours a day is a weird normal in society but it'll be okay.

Posts will slow down as I'll have less time to play, but they won't stop. I enjoy this platform too much :) Makes me feel like it's 2013 again, which is a welcome feeling in this day and age.

I also turn 26 a few days after I go back to work so it's not all doom and gloom I suppose!

But in short, to everyone posting on their simblr in 2026 - you've kept a first time mum entertained and quite frankly sane a lot more than you realise lol, so thank you :')

Chester, on the other hand, had a nice and relaxing round. He's settled into his new career in crime very well and is pretty much the main breadwinner for the house.

To treat himself, he bought a telescope -

And adopted a kitten! He named him Zavok, you know.. like from Sonic.

You can't tell me this man doesn't have an unhealthy obsession with Sonic, idk what to tell you.

Strangetown - Round 1, Summer Loner; Ajay, Chester Gieke

I have no words for Ajay's behaviour this play through lmao. I'll summarise his round and do Chesters after bc poor Chester doesn't deserve to be roped into whatever tf Ajay was doing.

It started with Ajay rolling a want to invite Erin Beaker over, so he did just that.

Literally the SECOND they finished woohoo'ing his whole panel was filled with wants to do with Lola Curious. So he said goodbye to Erin and invited Lola over.

Both of them rolled engagement wants so I thought, okay! Looks like Ajay's made up his mind. I wanted to hold off though because I don't think Lola would be the type to get engaged on the second date, especially after the first one was so lacklustre.

Lola stayed the night and the pair ended up going bowling the next day.

And then Ajay rolled THIS.

??? Okaaay. Turns out he might not be as sure as I thought he was. That's okay! He and Lola still had a nice date, minus Ms. Crumplebottom.

As his kind-of girlfriend was getting beaten by an old woman, Ajay noticed Crystal Vu sat at the bar and..

Decided he wanted to date her too when he got home ? Bro. So Crystal came over.

But still rolled the want to marry Lola during his date with Crystal :///

I really can't tell if Ajay is giving hopeless romantic or player ?? I think Lola might be his favourite when she's not with him, but the second they're together he's thinking of other women?

They're both in the politics career, so I imagine Lola would think it would benefit their image if they got married and had kids etc etc. But I have a hard time believing he would stay loyal. Who knows, we'll see how things turn out.

And that's the end of the Singles first round! Between their drama, the girls having been grinding and work and managed to get the house looking pretty good all things considered!

The upstairs still needs some work though. The prison vibe isn't really what they want to go for.

Not sure if I've mentioned but here's the careers the girls are in; Lola - Politics Erin - Paranormal Kristen - Athletic Chloe - Slacker

They're doing pretty well but Kristen definitely needs to move out. Her and Chloe are enemies at this point and I don't see it getting much better lol, she's had a locked want to marry a rich sim since the intro rounds so maybe we'll start working on that next round?? I can also see Erin starting up a commune with Lazlo, exciting stuff.

The last few days were spent with Kristen royally pissed off, the Smiths came over to see how the twins were doing, and Nina falling in love with Chloe despite her bedroom looking like a dungeon - and not the fun kind.

Kristen also set the kitchen on fire, it's undetermined on whether she did this on purpose or not...

No matter how mad she is, she can't deny that Chloe putting out a fire in her underwear is a nice sight lmao.

Maybe it was desperation, or maybe that gym trip had Kristen looking at Erin differently, whatever it was; when the girls got home they started flirting up a storm in the kitchen.

Which Chloe was immediately interested in joining in on. Unfortunately, Chloe and Kristen have negative chemistry - so it was mainly just the both of them going after Erin.

Erin didn't mind, she lives a pretty hippy lifestyle and probably doesn't really correlate flirting/woohoo with love. And Chloe obviously doesn't really believe in monogamy so she was cool, but Kristen?

Well Kristen's pretty competitive. So, seeing that she was competing with Chloe, laid it on pretty thick with Erin. But when that didn't work and Erin still reciprocated Chloe's advances... well

It didn't end well. I don't know why she seems so shocked? All this happened so fast lmao.

Chloe and Erin didn't care much for Kristen's emotional outburst, it was just some harmless fun! Chloe would've been down for the three of them to carry this on upstairs if Kristen wasn't such a stick in the mud.

So whilst Kristen quietly sobbed in the kitchen, Chloe and Erin made use of their new sofa.

With 3 bi girls in the house, I suppose it was only a matter of time before this happened.

Mainly thanks to Lola's promotions at work, the girls managed to decorate a little bit!

Not sure why Chloe's so disappointed, she's passed out so many times these rounds you'd think she'd just be happy to have somewhere to sit down.

But since they prioritised the living room and dining room, they forgot to reinstall the shower. So when Kristen was heading out to the gym, Erin followed to utilise the public shower.

And this is where ACR took the reigns and things started to go downhill...

Despite having better chemistry with Don, Chloe couldn't get Nina Caliente out of her mind. She's been rolling consistent wants about her since their meeting (which I'm not complaining about, they're one of my fav non-cannon ships :'))), so they arranged to meet up.

Later on, Chloe got a call from a woman named Brandi saying she was one of Nina's friends and they planned to meet downtown for a night out. Chloe thought it was weird that Brandi brought her kids along? Something about 'the eldest was out with his girlfriend and they couldn't afford a babysitter' or something? Whatever, they were cool enough.

(I can't wait to see what sexuality Beau rolls when he's older because whatever it is, I'm sure this will be a defining moment for him)
