❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️ | in my previous blogposts, I took you to Pizza Time in Dakar and also Melo in Dakar. Today I want to highlight some of the foods I ate during my last trip to Senegal✨| (1) thiebou dienne aka Jollof Rice which is a traditional Senegalese dish containing fish and rice. For those who don’t know, Jollof Rice actually originates from Senegal. Sorry to disappoint my Nigerian and Ghanaians, but you’ve been deceived all your lives. 🤣 lol. (2) American breakfast from Mawa’s Taste of America. I had some toast with an omelette, greens and potato. (3) This is some good-good home-made Jollof Rice! In Senegal, you normally eat a warm dish during lunch AND dinner. The most popular dish is Jollof Rice or Thiebou dienne. You cannot go to Senegal and not taste some good-good Thiebou dienne. (4) another picture of my regal breakfast at @radissonbluhoteldakarseaplaza. Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you can go to the restaurant and get some good food out there, I recommend it. (5) a Reine pizza with ham and mushrooms from @pizzatimesenegal. The best pizza in Dakar!
