like people keep saying he’s stupid for trusting master xehanort but 1) he doesnt have funny 4th wall powers and doesnt know that man single handedly ruined everyone’s life and 2) Master Pineapple literally presented him as a good old keyblade master can we SHUT UP about this??? he just trusted someone his not-dad trusted that’s ALL he did and dare i say???? i just. really appreciate that he isnt the stereotype he was “drawn” to be. you know, the big muscly guy who gives into darkness. seeing such a strong boy being emotional, anxious and genuinely just wanting the best for his family is always so refreshing.

he has no problems with his emotions - he cries when he needs to, he laughs when he has to laugh, he’s openly affectionate to aqua and ven and GOD i just want to Hold Him and tell him he’s alright,,,

BONUS POINT THO the scene with cinderella. i don’t know why but,, that single scene where he brings her to the ballroom and bows down as she sees the prince, as if to tell her that it’s fine, she can go on and have fun... It Hits Deep and it’s probably my favorite scene for him;;

I just want to Say that I love the part where Crow says "You? Nah, I know the guy". The little blush on his cheek is so cute and the ring is perfectly visibile. Yes, he *KNOWS* Az. Obviously!

May I ask 6)? If you could change one thing about the canon what would you change and why? Do you think it would make the show better?

Hm that’s a tough one to answer because part of what I think is lacking in the show, the book makes up for it and vice versa... I’ll stick to the show for this answer since it’s in the question: I would definitely have Crowley reviving the dove instead of Aziraphale ( I know it was intended like that in the script and it didn’t happen due to on-set technicalities, but that really annoys me). Also I can’t wrap my head about the reason why Crowley is now the one to suggest the murder of Warlock instead of Aziraphale, it’s not fitting for either of their characters to suggest that at this point in the show. Or at least, not in the way I see it. That’s probably my biggest beef with the show tbh.My second biggest beef is that Greasy Johnson and the Johnsonites aren’t there to be the Them’s rival band from Tadfield and echo how Hell and Heaven are at war for stupid reasons. That was scenaristically and symbolically important and I suppose it was for both a question of budget / convenience and because it would have represented very little screentime with little to no effect to the plot that it was cut, but. Dang. What a shame.Other than that I think it’s not obvious enough what Anathema and Newt as a couple are supposed to represent, so maybe one more scene of them to make their relationship sweeter at the very least could be good.Also it didn’t rain fish. Which was on one of the promotionnal posters. And I wanted to see that. I’m sad. I wanted fish rain.But I really don’t have many problems with the show as it is. As I was saying, a lot of things that are lacking in the show are present in the book, so I just mash the canons together to make a complete story in my own mind. When the show came out I was a little mad at a lot of tiny things such as how Aziraphale and Crowley are way less tactile with each other, but... the changes made to their personnalities are coherent with this decision, so I don’t really have a problem with that anymore.I wouldn’t dare to say any of the changes I could suggest would make the show better tho, because... well, I don’t know what Gaiman had in mind, maybe I missed a point, or maybe I actually don’t have ideas as good as I think and it would translate poorly once being filmed. I can’t be the judge of that.
