jupiter is a symbol of growth and joel has genuinely grown so much as a player, i mean this guy goes from being a feral impulsive red life who always dies early to being passive and very smart about how he plays

jupiter = zeus = JOEL EMPIRES S2 ARE U KIDDING ME not only that but jupiter being the god of lightning makes sense for joel it just matches him SOOOO much joel is simply lightning

just relistening to some past imp & skizz podcasts and. in the tango episode. skizz talks about how he has a lot of asian coworkers and even if they tell him to just use their american name for simplicity, he makes an effort to learn their actual names which. omg.

i truly adore skizz because at his core, he is a genuine and kind soul, and especially as someone who is korean this made me smile so much. and he even admits he probably butchers the names but it’s the fact that he is trying because he genuinely cares about other people.

it’s small acts like that that make a difference, and. i just find it so sweet because when i was younger, i often felt embarrassed to be asian and all this is to say that we really need more people like skizz in the world who make it more bearable to be different.

hii! first of all i’m so flattered thank you so much!

but honestly i am still a beginner at pixel art too! that was my first time properly giving it a go, and i liked it a lot! personally, what i did was look at a lot of pixel art that i like (such as stardew valley) and mimicked what i saw.

just keep trying and find what method works for you :)
