Melos' parents :') I don't talk about them often since Melos lost them when she was so little, but they were both druids and both trans. Melos was born to two loving parents who, alongside their daughter, lived a nomadic lifestyle following and protecting herds of deer. As druids, they devoted their lives to the preservation of nature and kaldorei tradition alike. Melos' mother cast aside her Highborne lineage and was a druid back when it was practically unheard of for women to take on that role. She became a druid prior to her transition, while Melos' father became a druid following his transition. He was the one who carried Melos, all the while tending to their migrating herd. Old art from 2021 that I still quite like! I have a vague comic idea for them in my head that maybe I'll committ to one day.
a young priestess and her silent goddess
player vs character running castle nathria in 2023 i pity melos for having me as a co-pilot
i think the patch is good :) melos hates it
melos ends up antagonistic or straight up villainous in nearly every timeline because the disconnection and silence from elune occurs in all of them. she never wanted to be evil or do harm but she’s forced into that role because she sees no other way out. shes a reluctant villain, anti-predator adaptions evolves and compressed into such a short lifetime. i think the few good timelines are ones where the situation changed enough for melos to evolve in a healthy way. she leaves moonglade, she becomes a dragonsworn, she meets people outside her own kind. she finds a way out
