Warm weather, beautiful cuisine, amazing views - anything anyone could ever want. Except it wasn't what London wanted. London didn't want the perfect weather, the delicious cuisine, or the attractive locals. What she wanted was to be a kid again. Back when everything was so simple, so easy, so carefree. Back to when she could do anything and there was no need to be careful, or not overwork herself. Back to when she could be who she wanted to be and she didn't try to make everyone happy.
A soft sigh passed her lips, as she maneuvered her way throughout the locals. It wasn't that she wasn't excited to be in Barcelona - it was more that after finally getting Regina to open up a bit, she couldn't help but think about what they were like as kids. They were close, they didn't keep secrets yet somehow that changed. Maybe London pushed too much with her positive thinking, or maybe she didn't push enough - but she didn't know where she went wrong.
She couldn't help but grin a silly grin, as brown irises landed on the Magic Fountain of Montjuic show. It was rumored to be one of the best shows to watch, and the brunette couldn't help but stand and watch. It really was a beautiful sight. It was glorious. But as her eyes scanned the crowd, watching people's expression, she couldn't help but land on a young father and a child.
Jonah.
That was the first place her mind went - she couldn't help it. He had been going through so much recently, and London was extremely proud of him for being so strong. She knew he hated admitting that he cared about people, and that he could and would show feelings if he needed to. But it just made London see him as more like his mother than his father. Jonah was just someone London could be proud of and no matter what he said, London would never not be proud of him.
The brunette hadn't even noticed she started moving away from the fountain until she stood in front of a side street, but it wasn't deserted as one would expect - no it was full of life. It was something London always was. But over the past few days, it wasn't so much her. It was more her trying to figure out if she gives up or keeps pushing on. But the moment she saw how happy all those people were. How excited they were at just the simplest things. That reminded London of how she was, how happy it made her to see other's happy.
And as she walked down the street, a slight limp in her step, she couldn't help but come to her decision. Even though it was probably going to be extremely hard, she couldn't give up on people. She had to help them through things and she had to try and keep people happy. Especially Regina and Jonah. Family was all she had, and with things going how they were with her health, London couldn't give up on them. They needed her as much as she needed them.
