"Alright Zim, we're going out."
"NO!! THE CANDY ZOMBIES-- THE HORRIBLE-"
"Zim I promise they're not gonna eat your organs- they're just humans in different outfits! You'll be fine! Besides, I have a plan and this is probably the only night that it will work!"
[Zim and Jaz head out of the house, Gir is left to steal candy and protect the base from the horrible candy zombies wandering outside]
"So what is this 'plan' of yours, anyway?"
"Well, I'm way too tall to be going to a Skool, but I need a way to be a distraction to Dib, right? Well- I have a lot of experience in technology and science-- and if I can't be at Skool distracting Dib directly- I'll distract him indirectly, by earning the attention of his father."
"The humans were right, weren't they? You are just doing this to earn the squintz of the Dib-human's father."
"That's half of it. And what about it, Zim?"
"..."
"Eh, you're bigger than me, what can I do to stop you."
[The door to the Membrane's house opens to reveal Dib, just about to leave the house and join the other kids in trick or treating]
"YOU! AND ZIM! I KNEW IT, I KNEW YOU WERE WORKING TOGETHER!"
[Dib shoves past Jaz without hesitation, tackling Zim to the ground and trying to restrain him. Jaz trips off the sidewalk and hits his head. His forms glitches before a hologram covers him completely, showing a brand new disguise]
"AHG- Come on-! No! I worked so hard on that costume-!"
[While Zim and Dib are at each other's throats, the ruckus attracted a new face to the door]
"Son-? What are you doing?!"
[Professor Membrane rushes out to Jaz and helps him up, while Zim and Dib still fight on, managing to be louder than the entirety of the children on Halloween night]
"Please forgive my son- he's so focused on his paranormal investigation career that he is.. Easily confused on Halloween. It must be the costumes- though I don't.. See yours?"
"Oh! My costume- my costume was a hologram... It was knocked out when I fell, unfortunately-- that was the whole point of my trip too.."
"Oh?"
"I've heard about your work, and I'm a bit new in town- I'm Zim's... Uh... Uncle... Yes.. Anyway- besides the point- I wanted to speak to you to begin with, so this is actually a lovely coincidence--"
[The yelling between Zim and Dib appeared to get louder, making the conversation increasingly difficult to have]
