Betrayed (Zeke)

*In the past*

He had enough! His family abuse was getting too much, to a point Kevin couldn't even be on the same room with his family, being an empath, he could Sense how they felt for him, disgust, shame, hate... They couldn't understand, they couldn't understand he was struggling with himself, his own identity and they wanted to force him to marry! Someone he didn't even know. All these women his parents were forcing him to meet... He felt nothing for any of them.

He didn't want to get married! He didn't want a family, sure it was not gonna happen right away, he had still some years and he was still a teenager, but Kevin knew if he didn't run now, he was not gonna be able to do it, his parents were closing in, there were spells around the house, protective ones, that stoped problem children from running away, yet... Kevin had found a way to break trough the spells it as now or never.

As he was putting his things away, his Younger sibling, the only one that Kevin knew for sure like him, walked in, "What are you doing?" The little one asked, "I'm sorry, honey," he shook his head, "I can't Stay here anymore," finishing packing his bags, Kevin began to open the portal to anywhere. Anywhere but home, "You can't do that, you can't leave!" The sibling protested, "I can't stay here either. You don't understand! I can't, I'm not the person they want me to be, you're too young to understand," the portal was opened, Kevin truned to look at his sibling, there was a pleding look on their eyes, Kevin's heart sunk, he reached out his hand, "Come with me. I'll look after you, we can be free, the both of us, be who we want to be," the Younger one seemed to be debating it, Kevin was running out time, "Come on!" He rushed them, they took a step back , "No," their tiny voice raised above the noises of the portal, "they are right, mom and dad are right! You are weird, you're sick! Not like us, you're... Wrong! In the head" they shook their head, taking a step back, Kevin could see they were getting ready to Scream for their parents, "please..."Kevin begged, but he didn't bother waiting, his heart was broken by his siblings words, he truly thought they care for him, he turly thought they loved him. He guessed even empaths can be wrong. And with that he walked trough the portal, it had been the first time he was betrayed by someone he loved, but the last time he allowed a family member to betray him..

He walked trough that portal and he was Kevin no more. Kevin died that night and Ezequiel was born,Zeke as his friends knew him.

Taking a sip out of drink, the sorcerer, sighed, "Well...I don't know why I'm taking a trip on memory lane at such hours..." He Said to himself sitting down on the couch, drink in hand, heart hurting as it always did when he thought back at that moment, it had been so long ago, but that was probably the first time he ever felt betrayed and by someone he loved...

Absence (Axel)

Axel was sitting on the couch, his skinny legs tucked under him, the very used thank top, and the messy bun on his hair said he was focusing on something important, he hated working on important things with hair falling on his face, maybe it was time for a hair cut...

Around him, a mess, yes, though he thought Nate wasn't going to mind this mess, he was working on their wedding, getting some notes and ideas down ,he had discussed with Nate the night before, so he could bring them to Sam and three of them could go over the details. It was going to be a small wedding, Axel was okay with that, only close friends and family was fine for him, all he wanted was to make the vampire the other Mr. Moore, he smiled a little as he thought of that, and yet, as happy as Axel was, and he was in fact over the moon, happy, he couldn't help to feel the absence, the 2 empty chairs... His parents...

Nate had sugested a video call, and that would work for the most part, yes, but it was still not gonna be the same the absence would still be there, he would still feel it, he wasn't going to be able to hug his parents, his dad wasn't going to be there, tearing up as his only son took the man he loved as his husband, and if anyone was gonna tear up, that would for sure be Derek Moore, Axel smiled, realizing he had earn not only his dad's love for music, but his big, softy heart as well, the emotinal side had for sure come from his father, not that Melissa, his mother, was a cold woman, at all, She was the kind of mom that spent the sundays teaching him to bake cookies, but She was also the kind of mom who's claws would come out if anyone would dare to hurt her son, and that's what Axel had of her, the overly protective side. That and the blue eyes, he remember as a child, people would usually say he had his dad's facial features and his mother's eyes. Axel smiled again at all the memories, truly he was a loved, spoiled child. He had a lot of problems, a lot of hard times on his life, but his childhood his family life was always the best it could be.

It was an absence that was hard to get over. Axel knew he had to try. He was so very happy with this wedding. He had to remind himself that the spell would be lifted one day and he would be able to see his parents again, to hug them. It was going to be okay. Nate would be by his side. So would Jay and Luna and all his friends. They made it easier to deal with his parents not being there.

Axel picked up the phone, he knew his dad barely remembered he had one, so he video called his mom, Melissa's face coming on the screen in a matter of seconds, "Hey, honey," She greeted, "Mom, you look good," Axel told her with a smile, "Thank you... And you need a hair cut, Axel Moore! And when was the last time you shaved? Where is Nate? Does he let you walk around like that?" The Wolf rolled his eyes, "Mom! Shut up, vampire hearing! He's in the other room, He's gonna fucking hear you!" Melissa gave her son an amused look, "good, he should hear. And watch your mouth! And don't tell your mother to shut up, you're not talking to one of your friends! Speaking of, how is Jason?" He couldn't help out a laugh , "I missed you, know know that?" He smiled, seeing his mother smile back at him, " Jay is fine, planing on dropping by his place soon. Hey, is that dad I hear on the background?"
