If Tohru thinks a drunk Maguro is enough of a pain at the bar, then he's probably even worse in his own home! Three beers in and he's going on one of his whiny-filled rants about whatever complaints and troubles he's been dealing with, lately... and maybe Tohru gave him some not-so-nice advice that only made his whining worse! ...And then start clinging to him while rapidly shaking his body side to side, saying stuff like 'I thought we were frieeends, Dachy!'

At that point, it looks like he was not going to shut up anytime soon!! That is, until... "?!" Tohru says that, while gripping Maguro's hair and giving it a yank. "...!......!!!!" The action took him so off guard, he choked on his words. Well, it definitely worked on making him be quiet! Though... it was strange... Usually if someone was yanking his hair, it was with sole intent to hurt or fight him. So usually, he should hate it.

So common sense would say he'd be forcing Tohru's arm hand away...right? But no... he just lets him keep gripping his hair so roughly like that. Maybe it was the drinks talking...but...for a second, he thinks to himself.. why does this feel kind of hot? No, no, it definitely has to be the drinks making him think this! He's sure of it...! "W-Well, I-I, uh-" This time, he's not stammering because out of distress; no, he is, definitely flustered right now. He darts his eyes away, smiling meekly.

"I-I wasn't....tryna do that....heh...."

He probably should be a lot more nervous, but.. his brain was scrambling a little right now, and not because of the beers for once...

Studying....the bane of Mariko's existence. But if she doesn't study for the upcoming exams and get a good grade? She'll never hear the end of it from her parents! And so, her and Cain were taking their day off to have a study session at his apartment. Honestly, it was probably for the best, because Cain surely had to make sure this girl actually stayed focused on their notes and not find some way out of this! After a long while of studying, they take a lunch break. Since it'd probably be... for the best if neither of them try to cook something, Mariko suggested take out. There was a food place pretty close by Cain's apartment, so he probably offered to just go and get it for them.

While he did that, Mariko decided to sprawl out on his couch while browsing on her phone. Not having notifications list full of emails was a breath of fresh air in itself. Even if she came over because of the study session, it still felt nice... spending her weekend with a dear friend... Though... maybe because she actually focused on studying for about 2 hours straight, she felt... sleepy... She tries to fight it off, since Cain is coming with some food... "Haaa..." But as she yawns, it grows more and more difficult to fight off sleep.... "C'mon...stay up.... Cain will be back...soon...."

She knows she should just get up, but she feels so relaxed right here... And then before she knows it... She's fast asleep..... Even once Cain returns, she's still knocked out on the couch. The only movement and sounds she makes is when he carries her to bed and tucks her in. "Mnnn...." She sinks her head into the pillow, falling into a deeper sleep.... She'll definitely feel bad about falling asleep after he went out of his way to get food for them, but she'll be grateful he let her get a little sleep in....

It had been days since Kaede last saw Chihiro. She knows he is more than capable of handling himself out there. As strong as he is, she knows that, no matter how tough a battle, he will come out okay in the end, no matter how many injuries he sustained: but... she still can't help but worry. She loves him too much to not do so... So when he returns to see her, she would greet him with a smile and a hug, as she would usually do whenever he has been gone for a while.

But this time, she hadn't done that, because when she first caught a glimpse at him, her footsteps had slowly came to a halt. For a moment, words could not leave her, from the shock she felt, looking at... Chihiro? In a form that she's never seen him in, before.... "Welcome back, Chi...kun...?" Curious eyes gave his appearance a once over. White, much shorter hair, purple coloring to his armor. And... a scar... "....!" Where did he get that? It didn't look like a normal one, either.. ("Is that... a scar?") Her fingers stop just above it. She was afraid to directly touch it, worried if she might hurt him. Even if it did look healed..

Then he tells her it's okay to touch him; that he won't break. "Ah, o-okay." She's still a bit hesitant, but she touches it, ever so lightly. "Where did you get this...?" She quietly asks... Then, her fingers coarse over his armor, before it reaches up to his face. Her fingers are gently combing through his hair.. "You look... so different...."

Curiously taking in his new form with her eyes and hands. Different as he looked, this new form did look pretty, too... But Chihiro...didn't look so happy. "Chi-kun...?" Now that hand is lowering to his cheek, giving it slow rubs with her thumb. She wasn't sure why, but what she would ask next, made a bad feeling bubble up in her stomach. "What's wrong? You look sad... Did something happen to make you look this way? A new form with Aogami-san...?"

While supernatural cases were rare for the detective to handle, he was tasked in investigating this abandoned house. Shuichi learned about the constant rumors regarding this place... like strange noises, a figure spotted inside, and even screams.. but how much of that was actually true, he wasn't sure. No one was brave enough to actually go in and see for themselves. He knows that it obviously can't be ghosts, but, as almost always the case: a person either living or hiding inside the place for whatever reason.

Today, he was going to find out for himself what was really going on, to hopefully clarify what's actually going on in this house to ease the people's worries. "This should be it..." He mutters to himself as he stands before it. He braced himself, since whoever is inside... could be someone potentially dangerous, if not some prankster purposely perpetuating the ghost rumors. With a taser safely stashed in his jacket pocket and backup on speed dial, he had some means of protecting himself if it gets that bad.

With his flashlight on, he quietly enters the house... the floor beneath him creaking with each step. At best, he won't find anyone inside and/or any evidence someone has been staying in here; and at worst, he does find a "ghost", after all. Which, again: he knows won't happen. But even with that said.. something about the air in this made him feel.... tense; like something potentially dangerous was lurking around the corner... but he quickly shakes that off as paranoia and continues on.

As he checks the rooms, steadily finding nothing except.. very concerning red stains here and there... he gets to the last room, opening the slightly cracked door some more... and stops immediately in his tracks. ".....!" A figure...sitting on the old bed. So someone really is here... But he doesn't dare step too close, aside from a couple of steps into the room. "....Hello." He greets. "Are you the person that's been staying in this house?"

Will he get an actual answer? He's not sure. He cautiously braces himself for whatever reaction he may receive....

“We made it through another long day of school, Saihara-kun!” Exclaims Kaede as she walks out the main doors with him, stretching her arms. The day was a slow one, and a really hot one, so she was glad to finally be able to get home so she could relax under the A.C. in her room.

Once they reached the main gates, she was about to say bye until he went over to give her a quick hug. “!” She blinks in surprise, since Kaede was almost always the one who initiated the hugs; so for him to, it was unexpected, but made her really happy.

“Ehehee, since when were you so bold? Just kidding!” And happily hugs him right back, smiling brightly. “I’ll see you tomorrow, now~!”

"S-Same here....good thing I brought little packets of hand warmers!" She giggles, taking one out to hand to Ezell. Even though her gloves, she could barely feel her fingers from playing with the cold snow for so long! "But you're right... It is worth it. Our snowman is coming out very nice!"

As they are building it, she's helping to form the part that will be the head for it. She even brought a scarf and a hat for the snowman to dress it up with once they do finish it. "I can continue forming the head if you'd like to take a moment to warm your hands....!"

On a silly note, I think it would be very funny if Yuichi, just: HATES bugs. 🪲🐜🐛Like, just TERRIFIED of them but will NEVER admit it!!! The VERY few exceptions he will make are for butterflies and ladybugs, KJDFNFJKD but even then! They're on thin ice!!! Other than that, he hates every and all bugs and especially, ESPECIALLY cockroaches and spiders!!! Anything long and squirmy? Anything that can FLY? IMMENSELY WORSE!!! If he's in public, he will try not to look like he wants to run, but he will look pale. And shake. Heavily.... but if he's alone? He will SCREAM!!! Or if you try to bring a bug TO him or try bringing him near one!!! He's screaming and he's running!!! IF not punching you!!! Other than that, he will DEMAND you rid that bug out his presence now!!!!!!!!!!

Susumu:

Well, Susumu already doesn't like the thought of visibly looking distressed or upset in front of anyone, but I think something that would especially scare him is the thought of just... completely losing his composure in general. LIKE...a feeling of sadness/panic/anger, especially anger, building up in him so much that it just all comes out at once! Because Susumu, at times... does repress some negative emotions. Even if it's hard to really get under his skin or bring him down? Sometimes even he has his days where it's not as easy to stay positive and happy, but he does such a great job looking the same as always that it's hard to tell...especially during work. Anything or anyone making him feel anger unnerves him enough, but if something or someone were to ever make him so angry to the point of completely snapping? Oh, I think that's something that would terrify him.

What if it happens...and people think differently of him? What if he's actually pretty terrible when angry? What if some people even grow.. scared of him? Those are the kind of thoughts that swim through his mind and why he swears to himself that he will never allow himself to snap or break down to these extreme degrees. He never would want anyone to see such a potential side of him if it ever gets that bad....
