I used to hate doing exercise as a form of recreation. I still remember one time where my mood went from positive to negative instantly when my brother dragged me along to do some home exercises to stay fit. Somewhere along the way, I realized the downsides to staying sedentary all the times and recognized the benefits of including exercise as part of my daily routine, namely a higher level of energy and better sleep.
In this new year, I hope to include more home exercises in addition to doing the ones at the gym where I have a membership at.

A few years back, my family and I went to a DMV center to take our driving exams (the questions part). I failed on my first attempt, and my dad suddenly started asking me questions on my second one. Since I have been taught that not answering a parent's questions is rude, I got stuck and we both had to terminate our second attempt when an employee caught us and assumed we were cheating.
I eventually passed on my third attempt, but I was so upset that I'd rather not go through it again. We made up though, and now everyone can drive a car.

Being in this place has its upsides. One that immediately comes to mind is the fact that Maya and Kaoru have become closer than they were back home. They were friends before, but now they just felt closer. Best friends, maybe?
It’s also led to unexpected discoveries. For one, who knew Kaoru could be so affectionate?
She’d always give gentle touches to assure her before, but now she’ll even throw in a hug or two! When she does, it always flusters Maya. This time is probably the most affectionate yet, as she feels Kaoru’s warm squeeze. Maya’s shoulders bunch together, and she can already feel her face growing hotter.
And then her feet leave the ground.

Maya’s not sure what’s going on, honestly. She just said she would be delivering all of these valentines gifts to their recipients, starting with Kaoru. Aya just smiles, but in a way that reminds Maya of Chisato. There’s something behind it, like she knows something.
Maya doesn’t get to ask before she’s pulled into a hug.
「Aya-san? Is something wrong? I mean, I don’t mind the hug, but...」
